The next day after the vamps had arrived, I am very excited to go to school. Not just for the mysterious new Ivar who is already filling my thoughts, but also so I can get to know the others as well. I have also decided to have a bit of fun messing with them all. I can't help it, I'm mischievous by nature at this point. I want to get my kicks in before they get to know my secret.

I wake up early and make a hearty breakfast of omelets with meats and veggies stuffed in them for Charlie and me. I pack up last night's leftovers of sautéed steak and pasta for both of our lunches today, and I also add a sandwich for myself to have after karate class today. Grabbing my dojo bag, I head out and ride off to school.

My eyes immediately find Ivar and the other Cullen's getting out of their cars in the parking lot. A few of them turn their heads at the sound of my bike pulling up. I lock my helmet onto my bike and start to walk into the building. To my delightful surprise, Ivar casually walks up to keep pace with me.

"Good morning, Aria, how was your night?" He greets me kindly. I like hearing how he says my name with his deep, accented voice.

"It was very relaxing, thank you. And yours?" I ask him. I secretly didn't want to have waited until Chemistry to see him again, so already my day has been brightened.

"Quite nice. What made your evening so relaxing?" He asked me as we walked through the doors together.

"Just some hobbies of mine." I answer vaguely, with a coy smile. "Well, this is me, have a nice day and I'll see you in class later, Ivar." I then leave without waiting for a reply and walk into my class. Just because we are mates, doesn't mean I have to make it easy for him. Even if all my body and soul wants to do is hold him in my arms and be held in his, I can pretend to have some self control.

I sit behind the twins like usual, and as soon as I'm in my chair, Lily turns around and looks at me with a brow raised. "Um, what was that? Were you actually talking and smiling at school with someone who wasn't us?" She asks me with a chuckle.

Alan turns around then, and I have to laugh at how they both have the same exact quizzical expressions on their faces. They look at each other and end up laughing when they realize they were twinning again.

"You're doing your twin thing again." I tease them with a grin. "And I do talk to other people, I just don't hang out with others. That was Ivar just now, one of the new kids." I state to them. I don't often socialize with the other kids here, I find most of them to just be annoying, gossiping children, so I guess it is a rare sight to see me walking and talking with someone else.

"Don't forget, we are preparing our presentations for our belts, don't miss class today." Alan reminds me.

"Yes, I will be there, you know I rarely ever miss a class." I reassure him. I skipped the last time we were up to get our black belts upgraded to the next level, it fell on Halloween last year and I was in no mood to be around others. "Who else would beat you up if I never went? Your poor body might actually not have new bruises for once." I tease him.

"Oh, the horror, a bruise-free body. How will I ever live with myself." He deadpans at me as he turns to face the front.

As the morning classes go on, I once again have friendly conversations with the vamps. This time in French, Rosalie is slightly more open, and we partner together to practice speaking. She is, of course, near flawless in her French, but I do well enough in it to be able to hold a small conversation. She helps correct a few of my pronunciations for me, which I appreciate.

In gym, this time Emmett is joining in, and he joins my team with Alan and few others, and we get a little competitive, not with each other but against the other team. We, of course, win the baseball games, with Alan hitting one hell of a home-run.
