"Going back to your hike again? You've been there a lot this summer. Is everything ok?" Ivar asks me with a hint of worry.

I'm currently heading out to go to Fort Warden park again, this time by myself since Jas is on a short trip with Alice.

"Yeah." I reply nonchalantly. "It's strange, I know I love the place, but something feels like I need to be there. I have nothing better to do today anyway, might as well relax before the newlyweds get back. You still have 'business' to take care of today?" I ask him teasingly.

"Yes, it should take up most of my day. Tomorrow, will you accompany me somewhere?" He asks me as I slip on my helmet.

"A date with you? Count me in, kjekken!" I say happily, then head off towards my hike.

When I get to my usual parking lot, it's pretty crowded today. Its sunny and warm out, so not surprising to see so many people out. I couldn't even have brought Jas today anyway. I pull up to a spot next to a beautiful bike and take a moment to admire it. It was a new red Ducati, and it was making me drool slightly.

I like my current bike, I do, but maybe I should be getting something new here soon. Bikes were always the best transportation for Gotham, but maybe I should consider getting a car, so it's easier to bring Shinobi with on hikes and what not. I feel guilty hiking without him.

I spent most the hike lost in my own thoughts, debating over a new car versus a new bike

I spent most the hike lost in my own thoughts, debating over a new car versus a new bike. I had music in today, so I was pretty dead to the world, just passively enjoying the sights. I thought there was one moment where someone called out to me, but when I turned I didn't see anyone in the crowded trail looking at me, so I shrugged it off. I got dinner while in town, and then headed home for the day and started to research new cars and bikes.

The next day, Ivar takes me and Shinobi out for a drive. We start the day with breakfast at the diner, then we went the scenic route to get to our old spot, our little alcove. We did the short hike to get up to it, Shinobi bounding ahead of us while we strolled hand in hand.

"We haven't been here in forever." I observe, looking at the overgrown nature.

"Yes, we have been a bit distracted the last year. I've noticed you've been a bit restless of late, so I figured a relaxing date together would be just what we needed." He leans in, kissing me sweetly on the cheek.

"Yeah, I guess I'm a little stressed about wedding stuff. First it was Bella's, but now I'm planning ours and I want it to be meaningful." I tell him.

"What do we have left to plan? I will help. It is both of our weddings, not just yours. Don't take on the whole burden yourself." He says helpfully.

"Color scheme, flowers, music, cake, wedding party, honeymoon, date of the wedding, guest list. Just to name a few." I list off as I think of them. "Ok, wow... when I list is out like that, I really haven't planned anything so far." I sheepishly rub the back of my neck.
