~ Ivar POV ~

I watched helplessly as my mate screamed in agony while our children were brutally being ripped from her body. I had not known it would be like this, I had not watched this happen with Bella. Carlisle warned me, sure, but seeing it happen to my mate in front of me, it took everything I had to not attack the doctor. It was my mate's hand holding weaker and weaker onto my own that kept me planted where I was.

I called out my children's names as they were born, knowing Aria would have wanted me to, but all I can really think in this moment is about how much pain she is in, and much more pain I am about to put her in with the venom.

"Robin Neji." I say out towards the doctor as he pulls my second son out of my mate, then immediately go my wife's ear. "Aria, you did it, our boys are safe, you can change now. I'm so proud of you." I whisper with pride to my beautiful mate.

With that, I bit into her neck and released my venom while Edward takes a syringe already full of my venom and stabs it into her heart. I then move down her body, biting next her wrists, and then her inner thighs, and then her ankles, trying to spread the venom as much through her body as I can.

I hear Jay say something to Aria as he lovingly strokes the hair from her closed eyes. Rose brings both boys one by one and lays them next to their mother once they are cleaned up, but I am not sure Aria notices. Her jaw and eyes are clasped tightly shut in pain, no longer crying out anymore.

"Alright doc, let do this shit." Jay says to Carlisle, who nods and indicated towards the bed next to Aria. Jay lays down on it, removing his leather jacket first and folding it onto his lap. I glance up and catch his eyes before Carlisle bites into him.

"Thank you for doing this for her." I say to him sincerely.

"She would do it a thousand times for me, I know that." Jay answers softly with a loving look to his sister, then turns to the doctor and nods.

Carlisle bites into his neck then, starting the change. Jay screams out in agony for several minutes as the venom spreads before he too clamps his mouth and eyes shut, becoming the mirror of his twin. The amount of self control they both have to not scream in agony right now proves even further how much torment they both have gone through in their unusual lives.

"I can clean up in here with Esme. You should go and see your sons for now, these two will be just fine." Carlisle suggests as Esme walks in with a change of clothes for both of them. I nod in response and place a kiss on my wife's head, and walk down to see my new baby sons.

Rosalie took them into the Cullen's nursery they had for Carlie, and when I entered, she happily smiled and handed me one of my sons. "That's Calder." Rose informs me with a smile while Bella holds my other son.

I look down at the miracle in my hands and observe everything about him. He has light brown hair, with just a hint of Aria's auburn in it. He has the slightest natural tan to his otherwise pale skin, and he is very warm to the touch, just as Carlie was when she was a baby.

"Calder. Hi there. I'm your father. You will have to wait a few days to meet your mother and uncle." I tell him softly as he opens his eyes and looks up at me.

He has deep grey eyes with swirls of his mother's silver in them. They look like a storm, with silver lightning streaking across the clouds. I am so in love with my son's eyes, seeing a small and precious piece of my mate that I never will again. I pass him back to Rose gently and turn to accept his twin in my arms next from Bella.

"And this is Robin." Bella says kindly to me.

Robin looks near identical to his twin. His hair is a slight shade darker and redder, which is probably only visible to a vampire, and is slightly curlier but otherwise the same as Calder's. His eyes, however, are where they differ. Whereas his brothers are a dark stormy, swirling grey, Robin's eyes are a bright emerald green. He has little spikes of a darker shade of green bursting out from the center, looking like an explosion. I imagine those are what my eyes might have been like a thousand years ago, but Robin's are brightened greatly by his mother's traits.
