March rolled around, and I was excited because I had an appointment to get my first of several tattoo's done. I don't know if they will stay after transforming to a vampire, but I have the means to test the theory, so I'm taking the chance and hoping they stay. Ivar knows I am getting the tattoo done, but he doesn't know what I'm getting yet.

Alice texts me the day before my appointment telling that it will be sunny and they won't be at school the next day. For most of the day, this doesn't click in my head as important until I overhear some random girls in the hall talking about dresses for the dance. Tomorrow is the day of the Port Angeles incident. Since I'll be in Seattle most the day for my appointment, I won't be able to intervene and save Bella, so I will put others onto the task.

I go to the Cullen home that day after school and talk to Edward and Alice.

"Yes, I will do it!" Alice squeals before I even get a word out.

"Huh, you usually can't see me all that clearly, I wonder what changed." I ponder in response.

"Maybe it's because it directly has to do with me? I just saw it earlier today." She replies nonchalantly.

"Well, I'm gonna ask it anyway, on the safe side." I say, just in case any details were missed in her vision. "Tomorrow there may or may not be an incident in Port Angeles with Bella. Nothing vampire related, but drunk frat boys causing problems. Normally, I would be fine to handle this myself, but I have an appointment tomorrow. So, my plan is to have you, Alice, 'randomly' run into Bella while shopping and then accompany her to the bookstore. This is the part that I don't know will happen. I'm not sure if she's at the same curiosity level now than she was in the story, and I don't know if she talked to Jacob about the legends." I say in frustration at my little adopted sister. "She's a fairly quiet person, it's hard to get a read on where she stands at times, and I don't want to push because that'll raise suspicion. So if she asks to go the book shop, just go with her and then call Edward, who will be nearby already out with you, maybe at a music store or grabbing dinner or something, to come and pick you two up. The incident that happens in the story is she wanders off by herself and is cornered by a handful of drunks. Then you, Edward, who stalks her nonstop, were nearby and heard the drunks thoughts about her, thus pulling up in raging glory and saving her." I inform them.

"I kill a group of people in the story?" Edward asks me stunned in disbelief.

"No, you just glare at them and they feel the natural instinct to run from you while Bella runs into your car. That's the night she learns about your telepathy, since she wants to know how you found her." I console him.

"Sounds easy enough! We've got it handled" Alice chirps out confidently.

"Awesome, enjoy your day off otherwise." I tell them, slipping out the door before Emmett finds me and has me stay for hours again. I'm getting back on my bike when a pair of arms slink around my middle.

"Now where are you running off to, pretty lady?" Ivar whispers seductively in my ear.

"I'm fleeing from the big scary vampire. Care to join me?" I coyly respond. He nods his head, then we both see Emmett pouting at us from the front door as I peel away laughing.

We get back home and we are cuddling on the couch as Bella is making chicken and dumplings for dinner. Not my favorite meal, but it's fine. I'll toss a salad later to balance it out. I somewhat resent her natural thin frame, I did not inherit that from my own parents. While my mother was slender, my father Lucas was a larger man, and I have to be careful with what I eat here in this life, especially since I'm not in a position of constantly training or fighting like in my past lives. On the other hand, their genetics gave me some killer curves, which I am not mad about at all.
