Thr group had finally made it back to the Crimson Demon Village after the fight and night had fallen.

Yunyun headed straight home without saying a word. Darkness opted to take the sleeping Iris back to the capital, while the others headed for Megumin's house.

Kazuma: *sigh* What a day huh?

Aqua: You can say that again.

Kazuma: Is that how you feel most of the time?

Aqua: What do you mean?

Kazuma: Completely useless.

Aqua: WAAAAAAAH KAZUMA WE JUST GOT BACK AND YOUR ALRQFY BEING THIS MEAN!!!!

Kazuma: Get off of me!

Megumin: Hey, can't you two keep it down? It's late enough and Y/n's resting.

Megumin had just finished tucking Y/n into bed for the night.

Kazuma&Aqua: ...sorry.

Megumin: So now what? I feel like we should talk about what we're going to do from this point forward.

Kazuma: You mean adventuring wise?

Megumin: Mhmm. I think today's fight was a good reality check for all of us. None of us were ready for what occurred today.

Kazuma: Yea...that was definitely unexpected. Then again, what was up with her power? She seemed leagues above the other generals we fought.

Aqua: She did say that she had heroes blood. But only from self experimentation.

Megumin: And the fact that she was a demon. The Demon King...

Kazuma: Oh yea, he's still a thing too. Man if Zenia was that strong, I don't even wanna imagine how strong her father is. Hell I don't think I could imagine how strong he is.

Megumin: Maybe...we should retire...

Aqua: ...

Kazuma: Hmmm, I mean, who wouldn't after going through something like that. It's completely possible too. We have enough money to just relax for the rest of our lives. And Katsuragi is still alive and kicking so if anything happens, I'm sure him and the kingdom and can deal with it.

Aqua: But...

Kazuma: *sigh* Don't worry, I'll see if I can talk to Eris about having you go back. Don't keep your hopes up though.

Aqua: Mm.

Megumin: So...?

Kazuma: Honestly, I feel like we should let Y/n decide. After all, he's the one who suffered the most. If he wants to call it quits, then that's that. We retire.

Megumin: That's...fair...

Aqua: What about Darkness?

Kazuma: She'll most likely just spend more of her time as a noble instead of adventuring I guess. So I'll talk to her. *sigh* What a pain this all is.

The groups solemn thoughts were quickly interrupted by a loud crash and screaming.

Kazuma: Huh?!

Megumin: Y/n?!

Aqua: I thought he wasn't supposed to be waking up for awhile.

Megumin: I'll go check!
