Prologue

At the center of the guild, a young girl who looked like Darkness innocently smiled.

Adventurer 26: She really does look like Lalatina! Hey little girl, could you tell me who your dad is?!

A female adventurer who was drawn in by the girl's smile leaned on Darkness with a beer mug in hand.

Darkness: Agh, it's none of your business you drunks! Oi Kazuma, hurry up and do something about these people!

Darkness turned to Kazuma for help but-

Kazuma: She's mine!

Darkness: If you don't want me to beat you to death then shut it!

Y/n: Is that anyway to talk in front of your own child? Have some common sense.

Darkness: Your not helping at all!

Witnessing the scene unfold, the young girl began to giggle.

Y/n: This is probably the best case scenario.

Kazuma: What do you mean?

Y/n: Usually whenever someone's kid pops up, they're out for revenge for some reason.

Kazuma: Don't you think she's a bit young for that?

Y/n: Komekko's a literal black hole. I wouldn't be surprised if this one was hiding some crazy ability either. You can't be too sure nowadays. Next thing you know it, three year olds are collapsing time.

Kazuma: ...I...think your just paranoid.

Y/n: Call it whatever you want. Hell, if she's Darkness's kid, her defense must be stupid broken. Like unbelievably broken. I'm talking world levels of destruction couldn't touch her.

Kazuma: Rrrrrrright...

Aqua: Hey Kazuma, isn't it about time we decide this times V.I.P?!

Kazuma: Don't you mean M.V.P? Either way, isn't it obvious that it would be me?!

Y/n: You? Pffft!! What a stupid question. The answer is obviously me!

Kazuma: You should be dead last!

Y/n: Lot of talk coming from someone who almost lost his first time to a manticore, bow-boy.

Kazuma: You really wanna do this here?

Y/n: What? Beat you senseless? Sure why not.

Megumin then raised her voice, a triumphant expression on her face.

Megumin: Oh? Am I, who showed the secret arts of the Crimson Demons, not the clear M.V.P?

Y/n: What? You don't even qualify for such a title.

Megumin: Huh?!

Y/n: You think people get awards for friendly fire? You've done that the most, so your automatically disqualified.

Megumin: That shouldn't count!

Kazuma: Shut it! If you got a problem with it then why don't we ask the witness?

Y/n: There's no need to ask the witness! I was obviously the most active and helpful!

Kazuma: Mhmm, sure. You keep thinking that. I'm the leader who keeps you guys in check so it would most definitely be me!
