When Kazuma came to, he was standing outside the gates of Axel with his memory wiped. A few feet away was Y/n on all four throwing up in the grass.

Kazuma: Y/n! Hey, are you alright?!

Y/n: Hah...hah...hah...K-Kazuma...it hurts...so much...*cough*

Kazuma: A-Alright, let's go home...

Kazuma got Y/n over his shoulder and the two began waking home.

Kazuma: Hey, what happened? Did we fight something? Why are we outside of Axel? And why do I feel like Claire is my greatest enemy?

Y/n: Its better...if you...don't know...

Kazuma: Did something terrible happen?

Y/n: No...well...not for you...but for me... I've...never felt so much pain...in my life...I'm retiring. Screw...this.

After walking for a bit, the two arrived at the mansion. Kazuma went to open the doors, but found they locked.

Kazuma: Well that's weird. Its usually unlocked.

Y/n: We're locked out?

Kazuma: Looks that way...huh? My wallets gone. Crap, did I lose it somewhere? I don't remember running much. I must've left it somewhere.

Y/n: My body feels like it's being pulled in every direction.

Kazuma: You sure its alright for you to move on your own?

Y/n: Yea...just can't do anything too strenuous.

Kazuma: There's still blood dripping from your mouth.

Y/n: Shut up.

As the two waited outside the mansion, the sun began setting.

Kazuma: Still not back! What are those people doing?! Should we go and check the adventurers guild?

Y/n: There's a chance that we might miss them on the way there.

Kazuma: *sigh* Hm? Hey is it just me or does Emperor Zell look bigger?

Y/n: I think your right...

Suddenly...

Aqua: Dragon Thief!

Kazuma: Who are you calling a thief? Its about time you accepted that it's only a chick. Why not open the door when you're home? Making us wait thinking that nobody was inside.

Y/n: Yea, let us in. Its dark and its getting cold. My bed is waiting for me.

Aqua: I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. After talking with Megumin and Darkness, we decided this mansion belongs to the beautiful goddess Aqua. Darkness has her own mansion in the city and Megumin has her home over at the Crimson Demon village, so the house ended up in my hands. That's how this mansion became my property. Weren't you two going to live in the castle? Get out! Get out of my yard now!

Y/n: What are you saying?! Get down here and open the door!

Kazuma went over to the door and started banging on it.

Kazuma: Hey! Darkness, Megumin, open the door if you're home! That idiot Aqua locked us out!

After a little of banging and yelling, the balcony windows opened up.
