Part 20: Angry Mob, Deadly Slime Hans

Angry Mob: Slay the demons! Defeat the devil king!

The angry mob was currently outside the Inn that everyone was staying at calling Aqua a witch for impersonating a goddess, causing them to flee.

Y/n: Wait, you can fly with this thing?!

They were currently floating away on Aqua raiment.

Kazuma: That's the part your worried about?!

After landing in a nearby alley.

Aqua: I think the water source is the problem.

Megumin: Ah, Y/n was-

Y/n threw his hand over Megumins mouth and whispered in her ear.

Y/n: Let's not bring that up. I don't wanna be on the same level as Aqua.

Megumin gave a simple nod

Aqua: If I can purify that, then the hotsprings should go back to normal.

Y/n: The only problem is getting there.

Aqua: Don't worry. I know this city like the back of my hand. They'll never-

Angry Mob: There she is! I found the wannabe!

The group began running

Y/n: What were you saying earlier?

Aqua: Nothing!

Kazuma: Do you really have to save the people who are saying all that?!

Aqua: But they're my darling faithful.

Y/n: They look anything but faithful right now.

The mountain

Aqua: Come on, I'm an arch-priest with the Axis Church! See here's my adventurers card!

Guard 1: Sorry, can't let you in.

Guard 2: One of the overseers just said to not let anyone in.

Kazuma: Overseer?

Aqua: Followers of Axis. Please here my words, and know that if you let us in, you'll be saving many lives and-

Guards: Oh, we're in the Eris faith.

Aqua: Why?!!? Just let us through!! The water source up ahead is in danger!

Kazuma: Let's see how this plays out.

Y/n: We're not going to get anywhere at this rate.

Guard 1: No means no miss.

Guard 2: Why don't you head back home now.

Aqua then approached Guard 2.

Aqua: Hey, your actually kinda pretty attractive in a way. You've got this red dragon profile to ya. It's pretty cool!

Y/n: There's no way she just said that.

Guard 2: Are you saying I have a lizard face?!

Aqua: Uhhhh, fine if you don't let me in, I'll tell the Axis Church that you Eris sect members were saying terrible things about our faith.

She threatened with her eyes glowing blue.

Y/n: Even I wouldn't want the entire Axis Church hunting me down.

Guard 1: What the hell is wrong with you?!

Guard 2: It's stuff like this that makes Axis cultists a pain to deal with!
