After getting some gear for their first kill quest our three fools set out on their first kill quest.

Kazuma: AQUA! AQUA! Y/N! Y/N!

Aquas dying of laughter while Y/n watches in fear.

Y/n: Okay. I know I said that the adventurer class would allow me to use a bunch of skills but now I'm really regretting not picking arch-mage.

Aqua: Hm? Why do you say that?

Y/n: WHY?!?! Those are GIANT FROGS THAT EAT PEOPLE!!! If I knew this was what I was gonna be dealing with then I would've learned some long range magic or something.

Y/n suddenly notices Kazumas lack of screaming and sees the giant frog hopping towards him and Aqua. Y/ns blood ran cold as he decides to slip away from Aqua whose continuing to monolouge about being praised as a goddess or something.

Aqua: ...then you'll have to treat me to as much alcohol as I want and when I say gimme i expect no hesista-

The frog managed to eat Aqua before she could even finished her sentence.

Y/n&Kazuma: AQUAAAAAA!!!

Kazuma ran to free Aqua, but Y/n remembered about the abilities he had.

Y/n: Hold on Kazuma! I got an idea!

Kazuma: Huh? What are you tal-

Kazumas words were cut off after seeing a red orb glowing in the palm of Y/ns hand and continued to grow brighter.

Y/n: Alright, here we go. CERO!

After Y/n yelled out the name of his attack, Kazuma was blinded by the attack and heard a small explosion close by. He quickly looked to the frog that was eating Aqua, but was confused when it was still there chowing down on Aqua without a care in the world. He looked back over at Y/n to see a charred body on the ground.

Kazuma: Oi.

Y/n: ...

Kazuma: OI! Y/N!

Y/n: ...

Kazuma: Did this guy seriously just self-destruct??!!

After freeing Aqua from the toad, Kazuma decided to call a retreat for the group. Of course, there were many questionable stares as Kazuma was dragging a charred boy with smoke coming out of his mouth and a girl covered in slime.

After reaching the guild hall Aqua goes to bathe and Kazuma throws a charred Y/n onto the bench next to him.

Kazuma: So as it stands this guy is capable of self-destructing and Aqua can't do anything besides heal it looks like. How useless can these people be.

Y/n: Ughhhhhhh.

Kazuma: Ah. Finally awake you damn voltorb.

Y/n: Voltorb? What are you- oh yea.

Kazuma: Yea. Wanna tell what the hell you tried to pull back there?

Y/n: Well I just remembered the abilities I had so tried to shoot off a cero but I dont know what happened.
