Prolouge

It was a normal day in uneventful town of Axel.

Aqua: Kazuma, Kazuma, pass the soy sauce.

Kazuma: Here.

Unlike Megumin and Darkness who woke up early, Aqua and Kazuma were helping themselves to a late breakfast.

Aqua: Hey where's Y/n? I know he usually sleeps in this late too.

Kazuma: Pretty sure Megumin dragged him out of bed for some reason. Don't know why though.

Aqua: Yea, that sounds about right. I'm surprised she hasn't attacked him in his sleep yet.

Kazuma: You got a point. I doubt they'd be able to hide something like that. I mean look how well they tried to hide their relationship.

Aqua: Also a fair point.

She said putting the soy sauce down.

Kazuma: Wait, you just touched the soy sauce, didn't you?

Aqua: ...No I didn't.

Kazuma: I know this girl has at least a one in five chance of purifying the bottle of soy sauce. Why don't you go ahead and put some on your food. Shouldn't ruin the flavor if it isn't water.

Aqua: ...Say, Kazuma, why are you being so harsh? We've been together for quite some time, haven't we? So you must know what's going on, right?

Kazuma: You say that you didn't purify the sauces every time it happens, so go on. Pour some soy sauce on this fish and dig in.

He said pushing Aqua his grilled fish.

Aqua: Oh, fine, I'll do it! What's the big deal, I just changed a little of the soy sauce to water! Thinning the sauce a little will surely make it more delicious!

Aqua tipped the bottle over and poured out a stream of water.

Kazuma: ...Do you have anything to say?

Aqua: ...I'll go buy more soy sauce later, so please pass me the salt...

With a regretful expression, Aqua shook the salt shaker over her meal. But suddenly...

Aqua: Ah! What are you doing?! That's mine! Give it back, you beast!

Chomusuke jumped onto the table and snatched Aqua's meal away and crawled under Kazuma's chair enjoy its meal. At the same time, Aqua rose to glare at it.

Kazuma: ...Say, why don't you ever just buff your luck stat?

Aqua: Ughhhh, this thing is really looking down on me. Move aside! It's about time someone taught this evil black furball about hierarchy in this house.

Kazuma: I think you'll find the answer rather quickly...

He said moving away from the table.
