Part 10: Destroyer, Explosions, Criminals

A/n: The end of season 1 has arrived. Feels kinda crazy I got here already, but without further ado enjoy.

Y/n: Destroyer?

Megumin: Cmon Y/n! We gotta get out of here!

Y/n: Wha!?

Y/n was dragged to the front yard to find Aqua, Darkness, and Kazuma who also had a confused look on his face.

Kazuma: For the last time. What is a destroyer?!?!

Darkness: Its an ancient weapon that has lost control. They say that where ever it goes, not even grass remains.

Megumin: It'd be suicidal to fight it.

Kazuma and Y/n looked at each other and nodded

Kazuma: Guys, we're going to the guild.

Aqua: Why?!

Kazuma: I'm not gonna let the house we worked so hard for be easily destroyed!!

Y/n: Yea!

At the guild

Luna: You all are this towns last hope  and we request your assistance in defending it.

Guild Worker: The mobile fortress is headed directly for us at a tremendous speed. We have one hour before it arrives.

Adventurer 1: Didn't the creators, have countermeasures?

Luna: I'm afraid they were the first to perish.

Y/n: How irresponsible.

Kazuma: This sounds like an endgame  boss. As if a city of beginners can handle something of that level.

Adventurer 7: If only Kyouya was here...

Adventurer 9: Wonder where he is.

Kazuma and Y/n slowly averted their gaze.

Chris: You all should evacuate while you still can.

Darkness: They can't. The townspeople will lose their homes.

Chris: As stubborn as always Darkness.

Chris then tugged on Kazumas mantle.

Chris: So you've got any ideas?

Kazuma: That's a lot to think about. Wait, Aqua, can't you break the barrier?

Aqua began pondering the idea

Aqua: I don't know unless I try.

Luna: Can you really break the barrier!?!?

Kazuma: W-we don't know, I ju-

Luna: Can't you at least try?

Kazuma: I-I guess.

Luna: Then all we'll need is some really strong magic.

Adventurer 6: We have them don't we? The strange and crazy ones.

Adventurer 18: That's right the strange and crazy ones!

Adventurer 2: We do have the crazy and strange ones.

Everyone in the guild turned their attention to Y/n and Megumin

Y/n: I know I'm not crazy. Wait, am I really that strange? What did I do to be labeled strange?

Megumin: Hey! If you're talking about us then don't call us by those nicknames! Otherwise, I'll show you a magic even more strange!
