Part 3: The Masochist, Thief, and Cabbage?

Y/n woke up late in the stables alone assuming that Kazuma and Aqua headed to the guild already.

Y/n: Wow, they didn't even bother to wake me up? Thanks guys.

Y/n quickly got dressed and headed for the guild in search of his party members.

At the guild

Y/n: Oi, Kazuma whats up?

Kazuma: Ah. Y/n, so you live afterall.

Y/n: Yup and I have you to thank for that harrowing experience. Anyway what happened yesterday after I passed out.

Kazuma: Hmm long story short, Megumin is a part of the party, me and you are considered perverts now aaaaand, oh some weird lady tried to join our party yesterday.

Y/n: Ah so nothing too ba- wait did you say pervert?

Kazuma: That I did.

Y/n: HOW?!? Don't tell me that I was violated while unconscious.

Kazuma: No dude. Megumin started spreading rumors that you had your way with her since she was covered in slime.

Y/n slowly turned his head to the young girl with a look of disbelief on his face.

Megumin: Umm. Sorry about that by the way. It was the only way to let Kazuma keep me in the party.

She said while averting her gaze

Y/n: Greeaaaaat. I didn't even get the chance to defend myself.

Kazuma: These things happen man.

Y/n: They wouldn't have happened if you just accepted her into the party.

Kazuma: Yea yea whatever.

Y/n: Hey, Kazuma. I'm going up levels but don't have any new skills popping up. Whats up with that?

Kazuma: I was wondering the same thing actually.

Megumin: You guys don't know about skill points?

Y/n&Kazuma: Not really.

Megumin: First you need someone to teach the skill you want. After they show it to you it'll pop up on your adventurers card and you just transfer your skill points to finish learning it.

Y/n: So if i wanted to learn explosion magic, I would just have to ask you and you'd teach it to me?

Megumin dropped her utensils and got right in Y/ns face with her eyes glowing.

Megumin: THATS RIGHT Y/N!! All you have to do is witness my ultimate magic and this power can be yours as well!

Y/n wasn't prepared for this outburst of excitement and was instinctively moving back.

Megumin: Is there really another magic out there better than explosion? No. There most certainly is not. Now, just say the word and we can walk the path of explosions together!

Y/n was still trying to process everything that Megumin had just said.

Y/n: Okay. Okay. Lets calm down a little.

He said pushing Megumin back.

Y/n: Hmmm. Explosion magic huh?

Megumin was staring at Y/n waiting for the answer she hoped for.

Y/n: Hmmm sure why not I guess it seems pretty cool.

Megumin bolted straight up from her chair, flicked her cape and grabbed Y/ns arm.
