Aqua: Give him back! The Schneider that I carefully groomed and raised. Return him to me, you shitty NEET!!

Kazuma: I made it back to where you were before, so give it a rest already! I can't help it if he's dead! Schneider has gone to another world and is doing just fine. Who knows, he might even have defeated the Devil King and be having a parade thrown in his honor right now.

The next morning.

Aqua was screaming about her carefully groomed character dying in the game.

Aqua: ...Really? Is Schneider really doing fine in another world?

Kazuma: Yes he is. He's built up a harem of beautiful girls and is living quite happily, so don't worry about him.

As Kazuma spouted such things, Megumin came downstairs.

Megumin: Good morning. Isn't it awfully early for both of you to be up?

Aqua: Yea, I took Darkness and her kid out to play with Zell today. I think its the first time her kid has ever fed a dragon. It was really cute seeing her be that tense.

Megumin: Speaking of, I don't see her or Y/n around, he was gone when I woke up. Where did they go?

Kazuma: Darkness took her out to town, saying that she wanted to have Sylphina play with children her own age.

Megumin gave a warm smile upon hearing that.

Megumin: Is that so? I hope that girl gets used to Axel quickly.

Kazuma: And as for Y/n, he went out as well, not sure where though.

Megumin: Huh? He did?

Aqua then directed a question at Kazuma.

Aqua: By the way, I know Megumin usually gets up pretty early, but why are you up this early as well, Kazuma? Y/n too, you guys always sleep late.

Megumin: I usually wake up around this time. I was supposed to have a date with Y/n this morning but he's run off. Guess I'll just wait for him.

Megumin then headed to the kitchen. At that moment Y/n returned.

Y/n: I'm home!

Kazuma: Ah, welcome back. And where were you?

Y/n: Practicing magic stuff.

Kazuma: Got a new move in the works?

Y/n: Hmmmm, maybe. Still working on it.

Kazuma: Interesting. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Y/n: Me too.

He replied entering the kitchen.

Y/n: Oh, what's up Megumin?

Megumin: Ah, your back, I thought you skipped out on our date today.

Y/n: Nah, to be honest I was pretty excited and got up early.

Megumin: Oh? I'm glad your so eager this morning.

Y/n: Heh, I feel like today is gonna be a good day. Huh?

Y/n looked in the fridge with a confused look.

Y/n: Hey, has anyone seen the sandwiches that were in here?

Aqua: Oh, those? Too bad for you Y/n, the early bird gets the worm. Those delicious sandwiches were devoured by none other than me!

Y/n: You did what?! Those were supposed to be for today! That's why I got up so early this morning!
