Kazuma: Alright, since we're already prepared upon arrival, my original plan was for us to go straight to the frontlines. However, now that I think about it, we should collect some info on the situation from that person over there.

Y/n: Where's this enthusiasm coming from?

Kazuma walked up to one of the guards with Y/n trailing behind him.

Kazuma: Everyone here is working hard. Ah, your passion for your work is truly commendable.

Guard: Thanks. You guys are traveling adventurers, right? You've probably heard this already, but the capital is currently in a state of high alert due to the attacks of the Devil Kings army. Anyway, don't just stand there. If you're entering the capital then hurry up and come in.

Y/n: Now that's just rude.

Kazuma: No, we're not here to visit the capital. Rather, we rushed here after hearing that the capital was in a state of crisis. We want to go support the fortress closest to the frontlines.

Guard: Oh, you came here to help? Though I am truly moved, will you be fine on the frontlines with your gear? Your friend there isn't even wearing any armor. The enemies gathered near the fortress are all elite troops of Devil Kings army, you know?

Guard 7: I've seen that blue-haired priest before! When the Devil Kings army attacked a while ago, she cast powerful support magic and healed all the wounded!

The guards were pointing excitedly at the rest of the group.

Kazuma: It seems that you know your stuff. Yes, we're-

Guard: Ah, I remember you! You're the guy that was hacked to death by kobolds!

Guard 2: Hey, your right! Which means your this guy's babysitter!

Y/n: Huh? B-Babysitter?

Kazuma: Eh?

Guard 2: You guys are way too weak, don't even think about coming to a place like this. There's a faraway town called Axel that is known as the gathering place for newbie adventures. Why don't you go there and level up a bit first?

Guard 5: The monsters around here are all really strong. By the way, are you two their servants or something? Even if your just a porter, you need to have decent strength.

Y/n: Decent strength?

Y/n was starting to get annoyed with the guards remarks.

Kazuma: Look, we're a strong adventuring party. Besides me, the leader, the party is composed of an Arch-Priest, a Crusader, a Swordsman, and two Arch-Wizards. It's a rather luxurious group, isn't it?
