chapter 39 - A dream

The time for the concert was coming near. Being two best dancers at the academy Yibo and Yuchen had so much to practice. So they had to put away their differences and practise together.

Though there were no physical fights there were still verbal ones. And also there were unintentional trippings mistaken kicking as well.

However taking that both of them were enthusiastic about dancing Yuchen came over to Xiao mansion along with Mianmian and Jill for extra practices. They all practiced until their feet hurt.

Even though Yuchen and Yibo swored that they were enemies Madam Yu and Mr. Jiang saw them as a younger version of Zhan and Zuocheng.

Even with his practices Yibo kept working on his studies and didn't miss one therapy session.

Talking about his past with a professional indeed has helped him. It's now his third month of going there. He no longer need Zhan to come with him. Well, he would love go anywhere with Zhan. But it was no longer essential that Zhan goes with him.

Yibo was perfectly fine walking into the hospital alone, getting his treatment done and walking back to the car alone. He had even learn to make small talk with doctors and nurses he frequently meet.

As for Zhan, now that he was in completely in charge of the cooperation, Xiao Corporation was thriving high. Along with success there was heavy work load as well. But Zhan managed it. He got proper rest and he always reserved time for their dates.

Soon enough it was the day they had been waiting for. Today Yibo would be performing in front of almost hundred people. Everyone in the academy was nervous about this day. Everyone except Yibo. When Zhan asked if he was nervous that morning Yibo had answered,

" I'm going to be great anyway. Why would I be nervous? "

That day Zhan didn't leave for work. He took a leave for a day. He was going go to the concert along with Madam Yu and Mr. Jiang.

Both Zhan and Mr Jiang wore their best suits for the occasion. However Madam Yu's attire was in a another level. She wore this pink dress, pink hat and a pink handbag. She was like both fairy god mother in Cinderella and Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter.

When these three walked in to the hall everyone's eyes were on them because of Madam Yu's dress. But she didn't care. Her little master was going to be performing tonight. That's all she thought about.

Yibo was taking part in three performances.

First one was the opening dance. It was a group hip hop dance to a Michael Jackson song. Yibo and his teammates wore white shirts, black pants and fadora hats.

It was a strong opening. Though habitants in the Xiao mansion has seen Yibo practicing they never imagined he would this good at this. For the whole time Zhan had his camera Zoomed in on Yibo.

Second dance was a couple dance with Mianmian.

It was about two lovers that were being separated by the world. It was very emotional. Yibo pulled off a heck of a performance. He and Mianmian made the whole audience feel the love and pain of these two lovers. Half of the audience had their eyes wet with tears.

Third dance was a break dance.

Yibo's body was bending to all kind of sides that Mr. Jiang wondered if his ribs and bones were made of rubber. That performance contained so much power. Everyone wanted to dance along.

All through the performances Zhan was beaming with happiness. It was clear that Yibo was one of the best dancers there. The whole audience would agree to it.
