Chapter 61 - Guilt Part 1

Yibo walked into their bedroom with tired eyes and Zhan followed him behind. Zhan helped him remove his overcoat as Zhan was putting it away Yibo fell into the bed face forward, with his arms spread and legs pushed out of the bed together, like the letter T.

When Zhan sat beside him and ruffled his hair Yibo gave a happy moan.

" Tired? " asked Zhan dragging his fingers through his hair.

" Very. They had lots of questions. They wouldn't shut up. "

" Then rest for a while. I'll go see what's for dinner. "

Saying that Zhan got up to leave the room. But before he could go through the door his hand was held, and he was dragged back to the bed.

After making confused Zhan sit on the bed, Yibo get on the bed laid on the bed in the previous posture and kept Zhan's palm on top of his head.

" Do it more. "

Yibo mumbled into the mattress making Zhan chuckle immediately.

That day when Zhan came back to the hospital again , when Zhan nervously walked through the hospital room, the kid who kept his head down was no where to be seen. And the bed was empty too.

As Zhan started his panicking he heard ear piercing " Zhangeeeeeee " from his right.

When Zhan turned his head to the right he still found nothing. Well, not exactly nothing. Just no human.

In his right was a chair. On top of it was box of some sort. On top of it was a cushion. On top of it was a pillow. And on top of it was a milky white two legs.

As Zhan lifted his head with two widen eyes he found the man who didn't want to leave the bed for days, doing his best to look out of the high window, which the only window from where you can see the cars entering the hospital.

As another " Zhangeeee..." was released the excited man on top of self made pillar forgot where he was. Thanks to the pressure due to his excited fidgeting the pillar suffered structural damage and was broken in half as the cushion
and pillow started to fly and so did the man.

Like a cricket player who was trying to catch the ball that about the hit the ground, Zhan had started to run to him with both his arms extended forward, yelling

" Yiboooooo...... "

And................................ It's a catch..!!

After the catch, instead of getting out of the arms the ball turned into a koala and wrapped its limbs around this tall man, continously saying sorry and that he would never again in his life ask him to " go ".

So like that they made up and the cheerful, curious and happy Yibo started emerge back.

Two days after Yibo talked again, he was discharged from the hospital.

Considering Yibo's mental state doctors had strongly disagreed to police asking questions about that night. Because police questioning can be very tough even for those in healthy state of mind.

And because police already had DNA of the killer because of the blood released from the bite wound, because Song Jiang could give a rough idea about man's body shape and because Yibo already had told that night's story to Madam Yu, unlike his senior police officers Zuocheng didn't try to hurry questioning Yibo.

Therefore Zhan didn't give his permission to question him either.

So the questioning Yibo only happened few days after he came home. If not for the new development in the case, questioning Yibo could have postponed even more.
