Habiba's POV:

Beach waves were erupting, packing the kids' toys while they ran for their lives, but the little girl was approaching the water; no one cared to stop her, and neither was she scared of its waves while they swept her in.

Watching from a distance, I could sense the danger looming, and I just couldn't ignore it when I found my feet running to her.

Once I got to the scene, she was already in the water and all I could hear was her faint cries from a distance.

"Someone help!" The orphanage officials yelled, making people around run to our aid, but if I hadn't dived in, we might have been unable to save her.

I was very familiar with swimming, so I continued to swim deeper into the ocean; the salty taste of the water burned my tongue while I gulped some; my sight was becoming blurry, and I couldn't see properly with every strong wave that hit me, sweeping deeper into the water.

I could hear People's yells becoming louder; while I struggled to keep my head out of the water, I could see some of the beach lifeguards hurrying to the sea with their rescue boats.

While I struggled to keep my head out of the water, I began to feel leg cramps, but I struggled anyway, swimming and calling out for help; I couldn't find a trace of her.

"How will I trace her now? God, please help me find her." I say, shivering out of the cold while I continue to dive deeper into the sea.

I could feel my legs threatening to give up, but I forced myself and continued to swim, and not long, we found her.

Flashlight from the lifeguard's boat did a miracle; she was floating beside a huge rock; luckily, her shirt got stuck to one of the rocks, preventing her from drowning.

Striving my way through the hard waves, I got to her; she was unconscious, her body was very cold, and her face was cold-blooded.

"Help!" I screamed waving my hands to gain their attention.

"Here!"

Within a minute, the rescue boat arrived, and they pulled her out of my arm, which made me happy and relieved that we saved her, but my happiness was short-lived as I couldn't feel my legs anymore.

I stretched my hand to the rescuers seeking help but my hand slipped off as I began to drown, I lost the sanity of my feet, they became numb and I couldn't feel them anymore, I had zero chances of surviving as I didn't know what was going to happen but I knew I was in trouble.

Thunderstruck as heavy rain began to fall.

The rescuers in search of me could only hear my yells while I struggled to swim; I couldn't; I could only use my hand, splashing and trying to reach for any rock close to me.

I felt my energy zapping out, while I grabbed onto a huge stone, I began to cry, and Shortly, everything went blank.

Najib's POV:

We got to the parking lot expecting Habiba to follow us, but no, she had to be stubborn.

"Where the hell is she?" I sighed realizing her absence.

"Baby, I guess she's back there enjoying herself."

"C'mon, we can't leave without her."

"So what do we do now?"

"We need to find her."

"I'm exhausted, you go, I wait here in the car, give me the car keys."

"Okay, take care of yourself," I say and rush back to the beach.
