Najib's POV:

"What the hell was that all about?" Abdul yelled, leaving me shocked by his reaction; he looked angry while he snapped at me using a harsh tone he'd never used on me before.

"Are you asking me?!" I snapped back.

"Who the heck should I ask? Weren't you the one that caused all that ruckus?!"

"Chill, bro, don't just see my fault; she went against me."

"Really? How can a single dress make you go so wild? Check the internet; you have gone viral; see for yourself." He sighed while scrolling on his Twitter handle, he showed me clips of videos taken of me and hate comments.

"This isn't new to me; I'm used to being trolled on the net, after all." I sighed.

"That's not what I'm trying to make you understand, why did you mistreat her like that? And especially before everyone, that was cruel of you!"

"What then did you expect me to do? To kiss her ass and remain calm after she disobeyed me?!"

"Najib, I don't know why you're being so insensitive because of an insignificant dress, why?"

"Insignificant?" I scoffed. "Can you listen to yourself? That dress belongs to my mother." I yelled.

"Huh! All the time, you drag your mother into every situation, I, too, o lost my mother at a time when I needed her the most. Her images are all I've seen, not her physically; at least you got to even create memories with her, while mine abandoned me, so tell me, because my mother left me as a child, does that give me the advantage to hurt others?"

"Abdul, the reason why you're saying all this is because you never saw what my mother passed through; you never witnessed her agony or saw her suppress so much pain just to survive."

"Najib, don't misquote me; I'm not saying you should forget or ignore what your mom went through; all I'm saying is that it's time to move on and stop antagonizing your loved ones. Your Grandma was in tears, begging me to find you; firstly, where is Habiba?" He sighed.

"At the hood," I replied.

"The what?! Are you nuts?!" He growled.

"Hey, I only took her there to punish her."

"Hear yourself, Najib, you've turned a replica of your father; why the hell will you take her to such a place? Why?!"

"Don't you dare compare me to that man, and why are you so suddenly affected by what I do to her? Why are you concerned about her, tell me, why?!"

"Because she is innocent, Habiba is innocent, the girl you introduced me to earlier isn't what I thought she was."

"So what did you think she was?"

"The first time we discussed your wife. Honestly, I thought she was a gold digger who was thirsty for your wealth, but after tonight and what I have witnessed, I realized my assumptions were wrong."

"And why do you think so?" I scoffed.

"Her attitude, Najib, I've never seen a down-to-earth girl like her. She's not what you think she is, and I'm one hundred per cent sure she didn't wear that dress on purpose."

"So now you're siding with her lies, on whose side are you? I only came to your house to discuss things with you, instead of advising me on what to do to her next, you're sympathizing with her?

"I'm not on anybody's side; I'm just on the truth path, and I'm very sure when I say someone tricked her into wearing the dress because if you didn't gift her the dress, then who would?"
