Najib's POV:

Today marks two months since her disappearance, and my team, despite searching every nook and cranny of Lagos, there was no news of her.

Back when Grandma was still in India, she will give me approximately 30 missed calls in a day which made me wonder if all she's watched and heard we're not enough to make her forget her existence, but rather, she was keen on finding her.

Ever since she left, it feels like she took my peace along, not for once did I sleep fine, especially now that Grandma has returned after figuring out the truth about my relationship with Zaitun, she now hates me, she's made me the villain for choosing to love someone else and for sending a criminal away.

She doesn't let me speak to her or even approach her, she insisted that only when Habiba is found will our relationship restore.

And that made me wonder what type of spell she's cast on Grandma for her to side with a criminal over her blood, her beloved Grandson.

Another month soon passed and still, no one could say a thing about her whereabouts, even Abdul didn't have a single piece of info about her, and as expected, he also blamed me for her disappearance, cutting all ties.

I'd instructed my team to stop searching for her already, it's was time to move on.

My priority was now on two things, the company, which is doing very great, with lots of profit being made recently, and the second Zaitun.

When I look back at how I'd disregarded her these past few months, I felt guilty.

She was my biggest support when my family were against me, she stood by my side at all odds.

Lately, I could see her bond with Grandma improving, I guess Grandma has also given up and accepted the fact that Habiba is out of our lives forever, which was the best for everyone.

The lost gone happiness in the house was slowly getting restored thanks to Zaitun, these days, Grandma and Amina laughed often.

They've become fond of each other, almost inseparable and it gives me hope that once we announce our marriage plans, everyone will gladly bless our union.

We decided to give it some time before we do that.

Habiba's POV:

"Habiba hurry, we don't want to be late."

"I feel heavy and very tired." I groaned dragging my heavy feet out.

"That's why I said you should take some days off your work, you work morning and evening I don't think it's healthy for the baby."

"And if I don't, how will I raise money, and besides, the nurses approved of my work."

"I will ask Yarima to give me more money."

"No!" I snapped.

"Why!" She snaps back.

"C'mon Jamila, he's done enough, I'll be too embarrassed if you keep asking him for money, he has already paid my antenatal bills, remember?"

"So what! It's my mouth, not yours...

"Please Jamila don't, I beg you, do it for little me."

"Fine!" She scoffed.

"Anything for little you, let's hurry, you know antenatal is usually crowded, we don't want to cue for long." She smiles holding my hand.

"Sure." I smiled back, and then we journeyed to the hospital chattering all the way.

I was 3 months pregnant, and I couldn't be happier and blessed at the moment.
