Najib's POV:

"What the hell is wrong with you? What were you doing with Ayo?" I snapped while she tried to free herself from my grip.

"Are you so angry? Are you jealous that I was having fun with someone else, not you?" She sneered while staggering into my arms.

"It seems you're drunk, how many bottles did you take?"

"Don't ask me; go back to that slump wife of yours; go and keep cuddling and having fun with her."

"What are you talking about? C'mon, let's go in; Grandma must not find you in this state." I sighed while pulling her towards the mansion, she pushed me away.

"Don't touch me!" She snarled.

"Zaitun, why are you suddenly behaving this way?"

"You are the reason Najib! you fat liar! you cheat! I can't believe I fell for your lies and flew miles away just to be with you, I left my life in London just for you!" She snapped angrily.

"Stop speaking in riddles; I don't understand; how did I cheat on you now?!" I snapped back.

"I f*cking saw you being cozy with Habiba; you held her so close in your arms with affection eyes; your actions don't seem like you're planning to divorce her any time soon...

"Are you deceiving me, Najib? Why are you deceiving me?!" She growled and began to throw punches at me.

"Babe, relax," I sighed, holding her hand; she yanked away.

"Don't touch me, you lying asshole! Now I see why Habiba has the guts to insult me." She began to cry.

"Habiba insulted you?"

"Yeah! And don't pretend to care because if you did, you wouldn't toy with my emotions."

"I swear I'm not deceiving you, I never knew Habiba did that."

"How would you know when you're busy falling in love with her!"

"Zaitun, please stop saying all these and hear me out...

"Shut up, just shut it!" She growled.

"Stay away from me! Now watch me go back there, and I will dance with whoever I want, and if you stop me, I swear before your asshole guests, I will expose the fraud you are!" She growled and began to stagger walk towards the party but I couldn't let her go there in her drunken state.

What if she says something that jeopardizes everything or causes a scene? Grandma would be so mad at me.

I ran to her, pulling her back; I cupped her face and kissed her lips, tasting whiskey. I didn't care if anyone saw us together; all I just wanted was to calm her down.

"Calm down, baby," I whispered once I released her lips, she began to cry.

"Najib, you hurt me tonight, you did." She says sobbing like a little girl in my arms.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, believe me, and please understand that if you see me showing any form of affection to Habiba, bear in mind that it's just for my complete takeover of the company."

"Fine, but promise me that you won't fall for her." She pouts.

"I won't; why will I fall for a village girl like her? We are class apart." I assured her with full sincerity.

I could never fall for her, not when  I was still mentally stable. I have only been getting close to her to coax her till I'm able to get her to sign my documents, and after that, I am going to throw her out of my life.
