Najib's POV:

I knew I had to leave the office in between work to visit the hospital after battling with a persistent headache; I had just checked out from the doctor's office, still pondering on what the head chef had told me earlier.

"Who do I ask to give me details of what exactly happened?" I sighed while taking my prescriptions from a nurse.  I decided to return to the office, but I had a change of mind to visit the hotel bar to make some inquiries.

"Wait behind, I will be checking in alone," I say while I step out of the car.

"Sure sir." He replies.

No one, not even my drivers, knew what I usually came here for, and it was best for everyone as I wouldn't risk Zaitun and I getting caught.

It would be a piece of disastrous headline news for me and everyone.

"Good morning." I smiled at the bartender who was busy wiping off the wine counter with a serious look.

"Morning sir... It's you, you're back?" the bartender replied nervously.

"Yeah, any problem?"

"Yes, sir, a lot would happen to my job if you remain here, so please leave, sir." He requested.

"Hey! How dare you speak to me in such a manner? I just came to make inquiries!"

"Sir... please lower your voice, don't put me in trouble, please leave before my manager finds you here." The young bartender insisted.

"Hey, chill and listen to me... I say getting interrupted by the manager's voice.

"Sir Najib." He says, walking up to me; he glances at the bartender, who has an anxious look before heading on to speak.

"I guess my bartender didn't inform you that you are strictly bound to enter this premises." He said.

"Really, On what basis?"

"That's just the new rule." He says which makes me chuckle.

"Firstly, do you think your bar is first-class, let me make it clear to you, your bar sucks, so be grateful that I come here to spend pennies and relax and that's even thanks to it being located in this hotel which is the best in town, so don't give me that crap attitude!"

"Sorry sir, it's isn't my fault, I'm just stating what my boss sent me to convey to you."

"Really!?"

"Yeah, after the mess you caused the previous night, you damaged a lot of our properties and almost got us in trouble; you're lucky your wife came to bail you out; our boss wanted to take the issue to the police...

"My wife was here to bail me out?"

"Yes, your wife paid a million for all the damages you caused, and she didn't want us to disclose this to protect your image from the public."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, she did so please leave now before our boss comes and sees you here."

"Wow." I gasped not believing my ears. I never expected Habiba to come through for me; she also made sure to protect my image. Did Grandma ask her too, or did she do all that with an ulterior motive?

For the first time, I'll admit I felt guilty for mistreating her all this time.

"I need to make it up to her." I sighed and returned to the car.

"Drive to Cold Stone."
