Habiba's POV:

I found myself walking into a room filled with babies crawling around, and for a moment, I stopped to observe the room, but to my awe, I found the room strange in a sort of way that it feels unreal, but then I kept walking aimlessly admiring the babies giggling while doing their thing.

And just then, one of the babies holds my dress calling me mom, I was shocked and terrified at the moment, could a baby with no tooth speak?

But then, I put away my fear aside attempting to carry the baby by my feet, and just like a balloon, the baby pops draining everywhere with blood, not only that baby, but the rest also began to pop one after the other.

The room was now filled with blood while I stood helplessly, I began to tremble at the strange occurrence, and the next thing I saw was Najib and Zaitun laughing at me.

At that moment, I recognize the baby to be my child.

Immediately I touched my stomach it felt empty, the warmth of my child was missing, the feeling of carrying little me was gone, and I no longer feel the presence of my child.

"Ahhh!" I screamed out sweating profusely.

"Habiba!" A voice calls, and the first thing I saw were two familiar eyes staring at me with concern, I looked away scanning the entire room, I became relieved realizing it was just a nightmare.

"Habiba!" The familiar eyes search for mine whispering my name, I rose from the bed rubbing my stomach to feel my baby's warmth, he quickly grabs my hands.

"Habiba, It's Abdul." He said holding on tight, and then, I paused to observe my environment again, I was sitting on a hospital bed, dressed in a hospital gown.

For a second, I stared at Abdul searching for answers.

What was I doing in the hospital? Why is he here with me? And why am I in pain?

So many questions to ask but I felt too weak to.

Gently, he lays my head back to the pillow staring closely at me for a while before shattering my heart to pieces.

"Habiba you had a miscarriage." He lets out a bomb looking at me anxiously.

But I thought to have misheard him when I smiled nodding my head.

"Did you hear what I said?" He whispers.

"No, You said what?" I mumbled still hoping I misheard him.

"You lost your baby, you had an accident that lead to miscarriage." He explains.

"I'm still dreaming, right?" I mumbled.

"This must still be a nightmare, I thought I woke up from it."

"You're not dreaming."

A female doctor and a nurse walk in, their presence spreads goosebumps all over my skin once I came to realize I wasn't dreaming.

How I wish I was...

"D... doctor," my voice breaks once she approached me.

"He said, hmm, he just said I lost my baby?" I stuttered hoping to hear otherwise.

The doctor takes a deep breath before she meets my eyes, and this already gives me a bad feeling.

"Sorry ma, it's unfortunate you had a miscarriage." She replies adjusting my drip.

At that moment, the world became silent, and only the word "You had a miscarriage" kept ringing in my ears.

I slammed my ear shut grabbing some of the nurse's cotton wool to stuff into my ears, I needed to stop the voice before I ran mad, but the voice only became audible.
