0209- Picture this

When I wake up, I'm already running late, like usual.

I quickly have a shower and get changed.

After my doing my little routine I grab my bag and head downstairs.

"Can you invite Logan round for dinner tonight?" Mom asks as I rush downstairs.

"Sure, I'll call him on the way to school and text you his answer." I tell her and take a few mouthfuls of coffee.

I fix my bag on my shoulder and then grab my keys.

"I've gotta go mom." I head out the door and to my car. I fish out my phone in the process and dial Logan's number.

"Hey, sleepy pants." I roll my eyes.

"Don't ever call me that again." I say as I close my car door.

"You on your way to school?" He asks.

"I am." I put my phone on the dashboard as I put my seatbelt.

"Mom wants to know if you'll come round for dinner tonight." I tell him.

"Tonight? Sure." He agrees.

"Okay great, swing by mine once you finish college or whatever." I tell him.

"Will do." He says and ends the call.

I get to school and text my mom Logan's response which she is thrilled with. Apparently she's been warming my dad up to the thought of Logan for days.

At lunch I head over to our table and sit in between Spencer and Aria.

"They're going to see if they can replace the damaged parts of her eyes." Spencer says as I sit down.

"Who's eyes?" I ask as the same time Hannah asks, "what are we talking about?"

"Jenna." Aria fills us in. Hannah spins round in her chair so she has direct eye  line of Jenna.

"They're taking out her eye balls?" Hannah asks and I laugh as I pull out my phone.

"It's not the whole eye ball, it's just the flap above the pupil." Spencer informs us. Ew.

"Can we not talk about eye flaps while we're eating please?" Emily asks.

"I second that." I say as I start eating my fruit.

"They really think this can work?" Aria asks.

"I don't know, Toby says she still needs to take more tests to see if she qualifies but it's possible." Spencer says.

"If she gets her sight back does that mean we're off the hook for the.." Hannah trails off.

"I mean guilt wise maybe but if you break someone's leg with a baseball bat and that leg heals you can still be charged with assault." Spencer tells us.

Blah blah blah.

I'm bored.

What happened to the days when gossip was the most important thing to talk about at lunch?

"She wouldn't come after us, she still thinks we have Ali's tape." Emily says.

"But we don't." Spencer corrects her. "And that'll be much easier for her to figure out is she can see."

Fuck that's so true.

"Guys maybe if she can see again we can stop all this whispering, she'll lose her taste for revenge." Aria points out.

"What's the point in whispering anyway? If someone loses their sight their other senses are heightened like their hearing. She could probably hear us right now." I glance over at Jenna.
