0201- It's Alive

We had a long night at the police station, it was ridiculous.

We decided to all stay together at Spencer's place to just be there for her. But because I stayed with them, I couldn't get high or drunk. I need to. I need it. I need a release because I can't handle this anymore all of it is too much.

The five of us hardly got any sleep at all.

"My brain is numb from all those A questions." Hannah says.

"Tell me about it." I say braiding the ends of her hair, it was close to me and I'm bored.

"I don't think I'd be here if it wasn't for A." Spencer says.

"A killed Ian to keep you here." Aria says.

"I'm sorry but that is not a comforting thought." Hannah says.

"Why not? You don't want a frenemy?" I joke.

"A gives so she can take. We know that." Emily tells us.

"So what's the bitch gonna ask for?" Hannah asks.

"Whatever it is. I don't think we can afford it." Spencer says. Money wise I can afford it and she can do but something tells me that's not what she's on about.

"Spence, you didn't... you didn't see anything?" Aria asks.

"I saw a black hoodie, black boots and gloves." Spencer tells us again.

"We'll I think it's safe to say A is not Jenna." Aria says and I nod.

"Are we sure?" Hannah asks.

"A sees everything, Hannah." Spencer says.

"Yeah and I doubt Jenna could throw Ian off the bell tower when she can't see what she's eating for breakfast." I shrug.

"I'm staring to think we should tell someone about her- him- it. What's the worse thing that can happen?" Emily asks. I actually know a lot that can happen.

"A knows all of our secrets." Spencer says.

"Yeah, if people find out, we'll always be those girls who blinded Jenna Marshall." Hannah says.

"And now we're those girls who are afraid of A." Emily says.

Yeah but no one knows that.

"No, Em, I mean you're right but... look we have so much to lose." Aria says.

Hannah sighs. "I feel like I have a hangover, and I never went to the party." Hannah says.

"God I wish." I mutter.

"We need caffeine." Spencer says. She goes to get up but Aria stops her.

"Oh! No offence but can I make it?" Aria asks.

"Seriously?" Spencer asks.

"I'm with Aria." Emily says as both her and Hannah stand. I let go of her hair and Hannah helps me up.

"Yeah, sorry, Spence but your coffee gives me the shakes." Hannah says and we all rush downstairs.

We head downstairs in a single file but stop when we notice our parents are all here.

"What's going on?" Aria asks.

"Mom?" Hannah asks and Miss Marin turns to Mrs Hastings.

"Veronica, since this is your idea..." she leads off.

"The accusations you made about Ian have cast a bright spotlight on all of you." Mrs Hastings stands and walks into the middle.

"Spencer is still a person of interest in Allison's murder investigation, and now the police seem to think that you four are also involved." She says.
