0312- The Lady Killer

"How did this get so big?" Hannah asks.

We're at Spencer's house waiting for Emily to get here to tell her about Paige.

We're watching the news, Garrett's trial is about to start and it's all over the news.

"I mean, it's like all eyes are on Rosewood." Hannah adds.

"I can't help but think that Toby took that job in Bucks County just to avoid all this." Spencer takes a sip of her coffee.

"Well I'm very happy Logan is going out of town for his game, he keeps asking me about Emily." I tell both the girls.

"Same. He keeps asking me about you and Emily." Aria comes back over to us.

"Emily?" Spencer asks.

Emily was supposed to be here already, but she's not.

"She's taking the long way because reporters are hounding her for interviews." Aria tells us.

I nod.

This is so sad.

"Okay, how are we gonna do this?" Spencer asks, turning the tv off. I take a sip of my coffee and look between her and Hannah.

"Well, Emily think she's coming over here so we can apologize.But when she realises what this is, she'll probably be more mad at us than she was before." Hannah tells us.

This isn't going to be fun.

It kind of remind me of when the girls thought Noel was A, and I ended up picking him over them.

"I am not looking forward to seeing that." Spencer says.

"Neither." I gulp.

I put my coffee down and interlock my fingers whilst listening to them talk.

"In a successful intervention, the loved one feels safe, not judged." Hannah tells us.

My eyebrow quips. I did not expect her to say that.

"Great. Right, so we'll start out all warm and fuzzy, and then we just have to hit her with the truth." Aria nods slowly.

"Yeah. And that's your cue." Hannah tells Spencer.

"Okay." Spencer stands up for more effect, I think that's what she's aiming for anyway. "So... Paige was jealous of Ali, we know that Paige was jealous of Maya, and she was with Emily that night, it was easy for her to set us up." Spencer rambles on.

"Right. And she has the other earring." Aria adds in for Spencer. "So she must have Ali's body, right?

"Yeah." Spencer nods:

"I don't get it. If Paige was so into Emily, why would she drug her? And then why would she drug herself?" Hannah asks.

"Hannah, I thought we were all on the same "A" page here." Spencer folds her arms over her chest.

"We are. This is a practice run." Hannah tells Spencer.

"Right, okay. Uh, drugging yourself is the best alibi ever. Classic Sharon stone move. Remember
that movie, basic instinct?" Spencer asks.

"No." Aria and Hannah say in sync whilst I say, "Yes."

"We'll, she wrote a murder mystery novel to cover up a crime that she was about to commit. It was actually kind of genius." Spencer tells them.

"It was." I agree with her whilst nodding at the others.

"Look, remember, I'm Emily here. We still think that "A" is working with Mona. So what is your connection?" Hannah asks changing the subject back.
