As the paramedics wheel Mr Fitz away we have to  hold Aria back as she fights and tries to get to him.

Noel is giving his statement to the police about the shooting.

"Aria we cannot do anything to help him right now." Hannah tells her.

"If they think you know anything about this, you're going to spend the entire night answering questions at the police station. You're never going to get to the hospital." Spencer tries to reassure her.

"Spencer's right." Emily nods. "We'll find out where they're taking him and we'll get you there."

The paramedics close the ambulance doors and drive off with Mr Fitz in the back of it.

We're stood outside of a store after buying a burner phone.

"You know what to say right?" Spencer asks Hannah as she hands her the phone. "Don't stay on the line a second longer than you have to."

Hannah nods and walks away a few steps to report A on top of Ezra's ambulance without really reporting it.

Emily hands Alison a hairspray, "It's the strongest one they had." She tells her.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Emily asks Alison.

"Ezra just saved my life. And he probably saved yours too. Hannah's right. There's no way my mom made that jump. She's not A, but Ezra knows who is." Alison nods.

Right.

"Look, Em, the plan was to get Ali out of town tonight, but now that we know that A's after Ezra-"

"I get that A wants to shut Ezra up." Emily cuts Aria off. "But Ali is still a target. Can't we think of another way to do this?"

Probably if we had more time, but we don't. We're on a time crunch.

"If Ezra... when Ezra pulls through, he's going to tell us who A is and this thing is finally going to be over." Aria encourages, trying to convince herself more than anyone that he's going to be okay.

We all need him to pull through but we're all hoping for a different reason to Aria.

We get distracted as we listen to Hannah on the police with the New York Police Department.

"Are they sending somebody?" Aria asks as Hannah comes back to us.

"Yeah, I heard her typing." Hannah nods. "They're probably on their way."

Spencer moves a hand to Aria's back to try and reassure her.

I still haven't spoke to Spencer since she got back, I still feel like I need to. The way I need to talk about Logan with Ali but it's not important right now, finding out who A is.

"Are we sure that we want to split up?" Emily asks.

"A wise commander takes measures to always let his opponent react to the wrong set of circumstances and in 400 bc-"

"Okay, Spencer, we get it. We're decoys. We don't need a history lesson!" Hannah rolls her eyes.

So true.

"There's no art to this war, Spencer." Ali says.

What the fuck is happening right now?

"You've read Sun Tzu?" Spencer asks.

"Okay, let's go." Aria pulls Spencer before she can get distracted.
