"You're awfully quiet." Logan puts a hand on my thigh.
We've just been out for dinner with my parents, they're heading up to Philly, we're heading back to mine.
"Sorry." I say keeping my focus.
Tomorrow I have to walk into school with Ali and be around her and stuff, I haven't even spent too much time with her since she got back.
"What you thinking about?" He squeezes my thigh.
I tilt my head to look at him and give him a 'you already know' look before looking back out the window.
"Gracie, you don't have to not be her friend because of me." He tries to tell me.
"I don't want to be her friend because of what she did to you, to me, to us. I'll pick you over her every time." I tell him.
He tries to fight a smile, I can see it through his reflection on the window.
He's not an insecure guy, but Ali was such a big problem before and now I'm not letting her be, he seems to be happy about that. Happy that I'm choosing him.
"Then don't hang out with her." He suggests.
I wish.
I turn from the window so my body is angled towards him.
"If I don't, it's sends a message, a message we can't afford to have right now." I admit.
"Okay, how about then you walk in with her, pray she's not in any of your lessons and I'll bring you lunch and that way you don't have to hang with her." Logan offers.
"You would?" My face splits into a grin.
"Yes." He laughs.
"I would love that." I admit.
"Then I'll be there." He smiles.
He then turns the radio up and starts singing at me, I can't help but laugh.

"I'm sorry Spence, nobody likes lying to Toby but if he finds out what happened in New York-""Just tell him the truth." Aria cuts Emily off.
The six of us are in Aria's living room. Logan's somewhere in the house doing god knows what.
Alison is stood looking out the window, whilst the rest of us are sat around.
"If you're lying to protect me, you don't need to." Aria says.
Spencer looks over to Ali, Aria follows her eyesight.
"It's your decision, Spencer, it's not hers." Aria reassures.
And it's true.
Before we didn't think we could trust anyone when it came to anything revolving A. But now we've all got atleast one person who we trust outside of our friendship that we know we can trust.
That's why Aria let me tell Logan.
Our relationship is a lot more grown up than the others, I think. We've been together for a long time and it's been messy and confusing and the depths of hell but we've come so far now.
The others haven't really had anything as long, twisty and messy as ours and that's a good thing.
But also, they understand that when I was getting sober I promised no more lies. And whilst the others may have also promised no more lies, they haven't been lying for the same reasons.
Maybe Spencer, but she never really lied, just... no one really knew.
"Alison, you don't have to stand watch." Emily tells her. "Spencer said that Toby was taking her home, Jenna's not coming here."
