"Hey Grace!" Dad shouts as I run down my stairs.
"I'm late." I shout grabbing my purse.
"I won't be long, it's important." He quickly tells me.
"Can it wait?" I ask glancing at my phone. I literally have like three minutes till I'm officially late.
"Grace." He tells me sternly.
I give in and stop to turn to him and pay him my attention.
I slip onto the island stool and look up at him.
"We're gonna higher the dosage of your moms chemo." He tells me.
"What? Why?" Somethings wrong. She's getting worse. She's getting sicker. Oh my god is she going to die?
"No calm down." He tells me and leans on the island.
"We want to do a bone marrow transplant. Whilst we look for a donor, we're going to higher the dosage of her chemo so she'll be ready for the surgery."
Everything is tumbling through my mind. There's so much going on I can't even keep up with it right now.
"Dad I- huh?" I shake my head.
"You can go to school now honey, I just needed to let you know while she wasn't around, she wasn't to happy about me telling you about the surgery." He admits.
They can never agree on telling me anything, it's like the only thing they argue about.
"Wait so is chemo not working?" I ask him standing out of my chair.
"Not that effectively, we wanna take a different route that will be more effective for her." He hands me my bag and I slide it on my shoulder.
"Should I be worried?" I ask him with concern.
I'm always worried about my mom but he always tries to tell me the truth when it comes to my mom.
"No pip, not yet." He sends me a smile before disappearing upstairs.
I groan and grab my keys then head out to my car.

"So it was there the whole time?" Aria asks flicking through her notebook pages.
"Yeah. Hanna's freaking. She's terrified of what Jenna's gonna do." Spencer tells us.
Don't blame her, she's being heavily targeted at the moment.
"I thought that we were backing off the whole Noel and Jenna are the "A" team?" Hannah asks
"I am, but Hanna won't listen to me." Spencer complains. "Are you?"
"I am." I nod smiling at her
"I'm sorry." Aria apologises
"I'm just trying to figure out a way to say 'Happy Birthday' without the 'happy'." Aria tells us.
"Birthday?" Spencer asks.
"Good day?" I joke at the same time.
"Yeah, Ezra's not in the mood to celebrate. He's obsessed. He's convinced that he's ruined Maggie's life." Aria tells us.
Ezra got a girl pregnant in high school which has been brought up recently and now it's like all he and Aria talk about.
"Well, why is he still thinking about his high school girlfriend?" Spencer asks.
