"Hey pip, did you get your email confirmation?" Dad asks, putting coffee in front of me and then my mom.
"For what?" I ask taking a sip of my coffee.
"UPenn? I sent off your application a few days ago, I've been waiting for you to bring it up." He says.
"Wait, what?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.
"Early admissions." He smiles.
"Dad." I sigh and shake my head.
I don't want to go to UPenn.
I grab my laptop out of my bag and quickly open it and check my emails.
Right there, under an email from Hannah and then one from Logan.
Your early admission application to the university of Pennsylvania has been received-
"Oh shit." I mutter.
"What's wrong?" Mom asks and I let out a groan.
Don't fight. Don't fight. Don't fight.
"Dad I can't go to UPenn." I tell him.
"UPenn is your dream school." He tells me.
Don't argue. Don't argue. Don't argue.
"I'm going to be late." I put my laptop back in my bag and grab my keys and rush out the door, ignoring my parents as I do.
God I need to figure out where I'm going and what I want to do. I need to.

"The Apple Rose Grille at closing time. Go alone or Caleb pays. A." Spencer reads out.
"Fuck off! Does it really say that?" I try to lean over the table to read the text on Hannah's phone that Spencer is holding.
"Yes." Spencer confirms, handing the phone to me. "What's at the Grille?" Spencer asks Hannah.
"I don't know. A's takeout?" Hannah suggests.
"Spit in it." I encourage Hannah.
"Oh I'm going to do a lot more than spit in it." She tells me with a big sigh.
"When did you get this?" Spencer asks, changing the subject back to the matter of the latest A text.
"This morning." Hannah tells us. "I talked to Caleb then bam! The text."
"Do you think it was because of Mona?" Spencer asks.
It's probably a mixture of Caleb and Mona.
"A probably knows that I'm the one that made her stay at Radley." Hannah says, agreeing with Spencer's question.
"Has Wren said anything about how she's doing?" Spencer asks.
"Oh, I don't know. I haven't talked to him since then." She tells us.
"You can't go. It's not safe." Spencer tells Hannah about going to the Grille tonight.
"Spencer if it were Toby being threatened-"
"Then I would hope that you would tell me the same thing. Look I've already lost one person this week and when Toby comes back to Rosewood, if he comes back, then I'm just praying it is in one piece, okay? So please promise me you will not go." Spencer tells her sternly with that Spencer Hastings look.
Everyone knows that stern Spencer Hastings look. It can be quite scary.
"Ok, I promise." Hannah gives in.
I grab her hand and squeeze it.
We look up to the sound of laughing and catch Emily and Paige.
They look so happy and content as if there are no worries in the world that concern them.
