Logan moved into the flat with his mom. He kept snapping at his dad so he spends the majority of his time here or there. As my mom came back last night and apparently my dad is coming back some point this weekend.
I wake up and get washed and dressed. Today we're meeting with Jason to talk about the memorial.
After my shower and blow drying and straightening my hair I put on black leather shorts and a sheer long sleeve t-shirt. I do a full face of makeup including winged eyeliner and red lipstick.
I make my bed, spray myself in Chanel number 6 and then grab a purse. I through random essentials in like gum, perfume and lipstick. I put on my doc martins and head downstairs.
"Hi honey." Mom smiles. She makes me a coffee and asks me to spare a few minutes for breakfast. She's a good mom, she's also in love. You can tell it effects her being apart. I just wish she would choose me over dad a few times.
I'm supposed to be at Spencers now but I love love love cinnamon rolls and I won't pass up any opportunity to eat them.
"I'm thinking of driving today." I say and moms face lights up."That's amazing, that car is collecting dust in the drive." She smiles.
After breakfast, I bid my mom a goodbye and then head out to my car. I haven't drove this car too many times because I care more about getting drunk and high and would rather not wreck it.
I put the key in the ignition and everything from there comes easy to me as I drive to Spencer's house.
I sit in my car for a sec, reapplying my lipstick and spraying a little more perfume before I head inside.
I head to the back door that leads me to the kitchen and out of routine just enter.
"There she is!" Jason cheers and I smile awkwardly. He walks up to me and gives me an awkward hug.
"You took ages." Spencer says and I shrug. "Got held up talking to my mom." I say sliding back down on a seat by Emily.
"It's fine." Jason says, he's the only one standing.
"Here's a copy of the program." Jason says handing me one as I'm the only one who didn't have one. I raise an eyebrow at look at Spencer. "Didn't you fold the last of the programs last night?" I ask and she just shakes her head and tells me not to go on.
"I was just saying I wanted each of you to speak." Jason says and I nod. "I'd rather hear from you than Mrs Slocomb from the PTA." Jason says.
"The PTA was a lot of help." Spencer says.
"What about the rain?" Jason asks. "The rain?" Spencer asks.
"40% chance before the weekend." He says and I groan. "Oh, um they said we can use the school's multi purpose room if we have to move the ceremony inside." Spencer says. "Great." He nods.
"People think this dedication is about closure. There won't be closure until they find out who did this to Allison." He says looking down at the tile for the memorial.
"The cops in this town have been jerking my family around for more than a year." He says and I roll my eyes. "Because they're a fucking joke." I scoff and he nods.
"I'm here to get some action, and this memorial it's gonna help me get it." He says looking around at us.
"Oh and I'm adding one speaker to the program." He says and starts writing it down.
"Jenna Marshall?" Emily asks and I refrain from putting my head in my hands. "You want Jenna to speak at the dedication?" Hannah asks.
"That's right." He nods. "Why?" Aria asks. "She asked me if she could." Jason says.
