0509- March of Crimes

"Hey, what the hell is going on." I say rushing over to Spencer the second I see her at her locker. I haven't seen anyone else all day.

My eyes widen on reflex when I get a look at her eye. "Oh god what happened to your eye?"

"Almost got kicked to death." She sighs whilst digging around her locker.

"What the hell is going on." I repeat.

"Emily and I went up to the stables to look for signs of Bethany and we got locked next to a horse in a storm. Something got in my eye and now I can hardly see and it's so irritated." She blinks hard at one of her text books.

I tilt my head to the side to read the name of the book.

"That's your AP history text book." I tell her.

"Thanks." She sighs before shoving it back in her locker and pulling out a notebook.

"Ali got Noel to break into Hannah's house and scare the crap out of Miss Marin last night." She tells me.

"What the hell? Why?" My eyes bulge out of my head.

"Because she's crazy." Spencer shakes her head.

"How are you getting through your lessons and driving around?" I question.

"By focusing really hard." Spencer admits.

"Did you get Emily's text?" Spencer asks.

"Yeah I'm confused." I admit to her.

"Emily caught Noel with some sort of tape of Ali. He doesn't know she caught him." Spencer tells me.

"What kind of tape?" I ask.

"One that isn't very good." Spencer sighs.

Before I can say anything more, pink shows up beside me.

"Are you two next?" Ali stops in front of us.

"What?" Spencer questions.

"Tanner's here again, she's hoping for a mutiny. If that frizz top cop gets just one of us to cave-"

"I'm not caving." Spencer says with chest.

Ali glances in my direction.

"I'm not going to rat Aria out like that." I fight back an eye roll.

"Speaking of. Aria is totally icing us out, more than you are Grace." Ali looks me over. "Is there something going on between Hannah and Aria?"

"I don't know." Spencer and I shrug, both knowing full well what's going on. No one is coping well with Ali being back, least of all Hannah. Then there's that whole thing with Aria's soon to be step-father.

"Neither does Hannah, atleast that's what she says." Ali tells us like we can do anything about it.

"How long are you going to be staying there for? Where's your dad?" Spencer asks.

Good questions because for Hannah's sake we need Ali out of that house immediately.

"I played down what happened last night so that he wouldn't rush back." Ali admits.

Ugh.

"What?" Ali looks between the both of us. "It's not like I feel safe in my own house."

"I have to get to class, I have to leave early to see the eye doctor." Spencer starts to walk off.

"Yeah and I'm... I don't want to be here." I admit.

"Guys." Ali says making us turn to her. "If one of us falls, we all fall. And A wins." She reminds us.
