Addie's parents picked her up from the airport the next day, waiting for her with open arms.

"How's your time been?" Her dad asked as they got on the road.

"It's been really, really good." She said with a smile.

"Things with all your coworkers are good?" Her mom asked."

"Yes, mom. If you want to ask about Drew, you can, but all I'm going to say is that we're friends."

"Damn! I thought maybe something would happen."

"It hasn't. And it probably won't."

"Hey, you never know." Her dad said with a small smile.

"Excited for the premiere tomorrow?" Her mom asked as she sighed.

"More nervous than excited, I think. I mean, well, I'm excited to see everyone again."

"I can tell." Winona replied with a smile.

Addie truly was happy to be home. But she felt that she left part of herself in Charleston.
