Addie listened to both records from Drew a few days after Christmas, once she had gotten back to her own apartment.

She had noticed while looking at the second record that the last song was also unnamed and Drew had wrote "us" in the space.

Us?

Us.

And as the second last song faded out, her heart pounded in her chest as she waited to hear what song was saved for last.

To her surprise, it was a song that Addie didn't even know that Drew knew.

Now, to preface, Addie wasn't a huge Taylor Swift fan, but she highly enjoyed folklore, and more recently, evermore when it came out. They kept her at peace, made her feel safe and secure. And she remembered Drew catching her listening to folklore on set in the summer.

So when "invisible string" began to play, she was shocked.

Us.

Invisible string.

Oh my god...

And isn't it just so pretty to think
All along there was some
Invisible string
Tying you to me?
Ooh

Addie sat and stared at the record after it ended. She didn't know how to feel. She didn't know what to think. There were thousands of thoughts running through her mind.

More importantly, how was she expected to be with both Austin and Drew tomorrow after this?

She hadn't told anyone about the gift. I mean, how could she?

Sighing, she got up, putting the record away before she began to pick off the dead parts of her flowers from Drew, tossing them in the garbage.

This years New Year's party was at Madelyn's and she had invited what felt like half of LA to her apartment.

"You're here too?" Addie gawked as she spotted Jacob in the corner with Maude.

"Yup. You can't get rid of me!" He exclaimed.

"Me either!" Maude added in.

"You seriously invited so many people." Addie said as Madelyn wrapped her arms around her, "But I'm thankful you did."

"I tried to invite everyone's friends, but I feel like we're a bit group of friends anyways so..."

"Thank you for hosting by the way." Addie smiled as Madelyn went to go hug Rory.

"Any-fucking-time. I'm excited for tonight."

"Thanks for inviting me!" Rory squealed in excitement.

"You two are a package deal. It doesn't make sense at this point to invite one of you and not the other."

"Damn, where was this attitude two years ago-"

"Girl, don't even!" Madelyn cut her off as the two giggled together.

Addie searched the room for Drew, but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Addie! I'm so glad to see you. Here's a drink for you." Rudy shoved a drink into her hand before he hugged her, glancing at Rory, "Oh shit. Hi Rory, uhh, I didn't bring you a drink, what do you like? I'll make you something."

"Apparently Rudy has taken on the bartender role tonight." Madelyn muttered, "Not that I'm complaining!"

"I'll come with you, Rudy." Rory said, "It'll give me the chance to see everyone."
