Joey had a whole hissy fit. She literally stormed up to the two of them, trying to create a scene, all for what, exactly? She broke up with Jacob. They were broken up. Why the fuck did she care?

"You know, I knew you had feelings for her. I knew from the moment you told me about her."

"You're fucking crazy, Joey."

"You cheated on me with her, didn't you?"

"What? No." Jacob scoffed, "It's just fucking Addie."

"You're in a matching couples costume with her two days after we broke up!"

"I didn't fucking cheat on you with her. Why the fuck would I cheat with her of all fucking people? Had I cheated on you, I would've done it with someone who's as fucking worth it."

Ouch.

"Then why are you two making out like-"

"It was the heat of the moment! I would've fucking kissed anyone! Addie was here so I just fucking kissed her."

"Yeah right, Jacob." Joey said, storming off.

"Just fucking great. Look what this caused, Addie. This was all a fucking mistake."

"Right, of course it was." Addie muttered as Jacob stormed off after Joey.

He stormed off after Joey.

After she broke up with him.

After all the shit he said yesterday.

He went after Joey, who he said he was happy to be free of.

Her eyes filled with tears as she pushed her way through the crowd to get outside. She needed a breath of fresh air, it was suffocating in here. Her vulnerable state was returning and she needed it to go away.

Push your emotions down. You don't care. It doesn't matter. It's not affecting you.

The cold air hit her face and she immediately took a deep breath. She glanced around, she was alone, thankfully. She wanted to go home and not see Jacob for the rest of the night.

The way he got angry at certain times, it reminded her of the way he played Nate. And she wondered if that's why he played Nate that well.

No, Addie, he's not fucking Nate. He's Jacob. They're different. But maybe he has anger issues, hell, she didn't fucking know.

She was disgusted that she felt the same way she had when her ex cheated on her. Why did she feel that way with him? She and Jacob were friends. Minus her slight crush on him that she really needed to get rid of. Maybe this would get rid of it. She hoped so.

That fucking kiss though. It was so fucking good. Truthfully, she wanted more in the moment. But now, she regretted even making a move in the first place. Had she known it would cause all this unnecessary and fucking immature drama, she wouldn't have kissed Jacob. And she didn't want to be someone's rebound either. She hadn't felt that way with Jacob until Joey stormed over to them. But she tried not to think about it. It was out of her hands. Pulling her knees to her chest as she sat on the curb, she began to get lost in the beautiful night sky.

"Joey, what the fuck was that?"

"Did you cheat on me with her?"

"No, I never fucking cheated on you. It's none of your business but Addie and I hadn't even kissed outside of work until tonight."

Joey flared up at him as he glared back down at her. This whole situation was fucked up. Messy.

"Also, need I remind you that you broke up with me?"
