"You haven't replied?"

"Absolutely not."

"Adeline!"

"What?"

"Why haven't you?"

"I'll literally be meeting him in a day. If he needs to talk to me that badly, he can do it in person."

Aurora rolled her eyes, "Okay, fine."

"Do you think he broke up with his girlfriend?"

"For someone that swore Drew off, you seem really intrigued by his personal life."

"Shut up. I'm just curious."

No, she still liked him, but she would never admit that.

"Honestly, maybe, but I guess you'll find out."

"Mhm."

"Are you going to see mom and dad tonight? They'll kill you if you leave without saying bye."

"I'm going for dinner, then I'm hitting up the movies one last time with Jacob." Addie said as she applied lip gloss.

"Lucky, lucky girl."

"That's me." Addie exclaimed with a smile.

"What are you and Jacob going to see?"

"End Game."

"Without me?" Aurora whined.

"I can't wait. I'm sorry."

"I hate you right now! On opening night too? Fuck you."

"Again, lucky me."

"Oh shut up." Aurora replied as Addie laughed.

They had always been huge Marvel fans.

Bet you can't guess who Addie's favourite Avenger was.

She was basic, but she couldn't help it. He was a classic.

Blonde hair. Blue eyes. Get it now?

Maybe that's why Jacob wasn't exactly for her, not that she didn't think he was super attractive or anything but she was always drawn to the same type of people.

Maybe she did have a type...that'll make sense later on. 😉

Arriving at her parents house, she let out a small sigh. She knew she was going to be bombarded with questions, and she needed to mentally prepare for it.

"Addie!" Her mother screeched as she opened the door before she had a change to even ring the bell.

"Hi, mom." She breathed out as her mom engulfed her in a tight hug.

"Oh, come in, come in." She said, giving her daughter a smile, "How are you? How's everything?"

"It's good, yeah, it's good."

"You know we're going to need more information than that." Her dad said as he rounded the corner, giving her a smile as she walked up to him and hugged him, "Hi my dear."

"Hi dad."

"Dinner will be ready soon but for now, let's catch up!" Winona exclaimed as the three of them went to the living room and sat down, "How do you feel now that you've finished Euphoria?"

"Slightly sad. It's like the end of an era. I already miss them all."

"And you all are still getting along well, yea?"

"Yes."

"So, you and Jacob still never-"

"Mom!"

"I have to ask, honey! It just seemed like you two were, like, I don't know, a perfect pair but Aurora also thought this other gentlemen, oh gosh, Johnny, what was his name?"
