Drew couldn't sleep that night. He felt bad. And he typed out a message to Addie multiple times, but deleted them all. Why was it so hard to admit how he felt? Ever since he found out about her and Jacob, it was like he physically couldn't follow through with anything when it came to her even though he wanted, and needed her so badly.
And for the next four days, he barely left his room. Avoiding his problems was something he was great at, clearly. And since his scenes were with Nick, he didn't need to even see Addie, nor the rest of the cast.
That was, until everyone had enough of his bullshit, and finally caved.
Drew stood up, hearing a knock at the door, and walked over to open it, hesitating slightly before he swung it open to see Rudy, Austin, JD and Chase.
"Hey bud. It's been awhile, yeah?" Chase asked as he walked into his room.
"Beer?" Rudy offered as he held up a case as they filed into the room and Drew shut the door behind them.
"What do you guys want?"
"We've barely seen you since the other night." Austin said as he collapsed on the couch.
"And Mads told us everything." JD added, pausing to look at Drew's reaction, which hadn't changed, "And Addie has also been giving everyone the silent treatment as well."
Drew still wore a sour expression on his face.
"Okay, well, this is getting us no where, isn't it?" Chase said, chuckling slightly at the awkwardness, "Come drink a beer, Drew. I think you need one."
"Stop pouting, man, seriously. It's not a good look." Austin said as Drew gave him a slight glare.
"Rafe mode activated." Rudy said, chuckling to himself slightly before stopping once he made eye contact with Drew, "Uh, sorry."
"Let's go, buddy." Chase pushed him from behind to the couch, shoving a beer into his hand, "Drink, please."
Drew rolled his eyes, taking not just a sip of the beer in his hand, but chugging about three quarters of the bottle.
"Alright then." JD muttered to himself.
"Will you talk to us now?" Chase tried.
"Nope."
"Okay."
Meanwhile, Addie was on the phone with Willa, who apparently had news.
"Okay, so the director for the Elvis movie would like to have you audition in person!"
Addie smiled, "That's so exciting! When?"
"Two weeks." Willa replied, "You able to fly out for a few days right?"
"I'm sure I can talk to Jonas and make it work."
"Perfect. I'll contact him and I'll get back to you as soon as I can, alright?"
"That's great. Thanks so much Willa."
"Oh, anytime! Congratulations honey! Hopefully we can get you on this project as well."
Addie chuckled, "Yeah, that would, that would be amazing, truly."
"Okay, I'll let you go now. Take care, Addie."
"Bye, Willa."
Addie smiled to herself as she hung up the phone, proud of what was yet to come. If she could only fast forward, she would.
Back to the boys, who had now been drinking for a few hours, meaning Drew was finally warmed up enough to talk about the issue.
"Now you gonna tell us what happened?" JD asked as Drew took a sip of beer.
