"Drew hasn't called."

"Addie, if I hear you say this one more fucking time, I'm literally going to lose my mind." Jade said, closing her eyes.

Jade showed up at Addie's apartment at 7 in the morning the day after New Year's. And she was missing an earring. Apparently her night with Logan was eventful, and both she and Aurora got to hear about it. In more detail than they probably needed.

Anyways, when Jade is hungover, she gets grouchy. So, she was currently very, very grouchy. And Addie's constant complains weren't helping.

"Sorry." She mumbled in response.

"Why don't you just call him?" Aurora asked.

"No. Absolutely not."

"She's too stubborn to do that." Jade said, laughing slightly.

"She's right."

"Well clearly you like him so I don't understand why you don't just reach out to him-"

Addie rolled her eyes slightly, sighing, "It's not that simple, Rory."

"Don't tell me you're not still lusting over Jacob? After what he did with Rory?" Jade asked as she shared a look with Aurora.

"I never said that." Addie groaned, "Let's just, let's stop talking about this."

Jade was annoyed with Addie. She couldn't make up her fucking mind over two stupid boys. Clearly the obvious option was Drew, I mean, maybe she was easily swayed as she had just slept with his brother the night before, but still. She was just fucking exhausted of hearing about Jacob this and then Drew that and back and forth and back and forth. It just made her want to tell her off.

But Jade also wanted Drew to herself. And with what she had done while she was still with Logan and Drew, Drew was likely not an option for Addie right now. We'll come back to that later on.

To build on the fact that Jade wanted Drew, it reminded her of what she had had done in the past.

Insert herself into the relationship. Into Addie's relationship, or relationships or whatever the fuck she wanted to call it.

Addie's ex? Yeah, he cheated on her. With Jade. Why? Because he and Addie were constantly fighting and she had to hear all about it for months. Months! Like, could they not make up their fucking mind? Anyways, Jade knew their relationship was kind of toxic so, hence her inserting herself into their relationship. So, she approached her ex, and ended up hooking up with him behind her back. Multiple times. Until she found out that he was cheating on her and then she was annoyed that she had to listen to Addie bitch and cry about it. She wanted to tell her to suck it up. And she did. And then they didn't talk for a few weeks.

But Addie never ever found out it was Jade who her ex cheated on her with.

Jade honestly didn't want her to find out.

But she would. One day, she would find out. And it would be catastrophic for all parties involved.

Well, that's besides the point for now. Back to our story...

"Jade becomes more and more bitchy every time I see her."

"You think so?" Addie asked as Aurora gave her a look.

"Yes." Aurora replied, "Honestly Addie, I don't know. She still rubs me the wrong way."

"You said that years ago then took it back. Why are you bringing this up again now?"
