[30] Catching Up

You drove to a nearby bar you 2 said you were meeting up at. You arrived and walked inside sitting at a nearby table. Then you saw a familiar face approaching you.
Brianna: y/n?
You: Brianna!
You stood up and embraced her in a hug.
Brianna: ahhh it's been forever!!
You: I knowwww!! Come, sit down.
She sat down and you both ordered drinks.
You: how have you been?
Brianna: I've been good actually. What about you?

You both laughed.
Brianna: I heard you and Diego broke up.
She said sipping out of her drink.
You: pfft yeah. Long time ago. It's been 5 years since we broke up.

You: we broke up about likeeeee 2 months after we lost communication I think.

You and Brianna continued catching up on what had happened in your life.

She laughed.

You rolled your eyes laughing.

You shrugged.
You: it's been chaotic.
Brianna: what do you mean?
You: let me give you a whole little update of my life.
You told her everything except for the fact that you and Diego were now friends with benefits.
Brianna: DAMN. Girl- are you okay tho?
You: yeahhh overall, im fine.
Brianna: so this Cinthia situation just happened today!?
You: mhmmmm. And tomorrow I'm going to Joao's game with memo's kids.
Brianna: how many kids did you say he has again?
You: 3 but they're not a handful. They're actually really calm.
Brianna: that's good!
You: yeahh. But hey, why don't you accompany me to his game tomorrow? That way we can talk a little more and you can meet him.
Brianna: uh sure!
You: I'll pick you up so you don't have to worry about getting through the VIP.
Brianna: sometimes I forget you're famous
You: famous or not famous it doesn't change anything
Brianna: that's one of the things I like about you. You didn't let the fame change you.
You smiled and ordered the bill. You each paid for your drinks and walked out to your cars.
Brianna: soo what time you picking me up?
You: umm around 1?
Brianna: sounds good. I'll send you my address.
You: okay! See you tomorrow then.
You gave her a hug before you drove away. You arrived at the house and walked in. Once you did you were greeted with Nilla soaking wet.
You: why are you wet?
You picked her up calling for Diego.
You: DIEGO!! DIEGOOOOO!
He came running from the bathroom.
Diego: there she is.
He took her from you.
Diego: she ran out when I was bathing her.
You burst out laughing.
You: you're so stupid.
Diego rolled his eyes and you walked up to your room while he took Nilla back to the bathroom. Meanwhile you went up to your room to get undressed and take off your makeup. After you were done you walked over to grab your phone that was ringing on your night stand.

Incoming Call from Joao Felix

You: heyyy!
Joao: hey! Thought you'd be asleep.
You: no, I just got back from hanging out with a friend.
Joao: oh! That's nice. What'd you guys do?
You: we just went out to get some drinks. Nothing much.
Joao: I'm glad you didn't get black out drunk this time.
You laughed.
You: nope. Never again.
He laughed.
Joao: umm I just wanted to ask you if you're gonna be able to make it to my game.
You: yes I am. Butttt there's a little something.
Joao: like?
You: I'm bringing memos kids with me. I'm babysitting them. I hope it's ok?
Joao: oh! No it's fine really. I'll make sure my manager sets something up for them as well.
You: huh? Set something up?
Joao: you'll see tomorrow.
You: okayyy? Oh! And is it okay if my friend comes too?
Joao: of course!
You: thank youuuu.
Joao laughed.
Joao: well I guess I'll leave you, so you can get some rest. It is 11pm after all.
You: no it's fineeee.
Joao: well I kinda have to get some sleep too you know?
You: oh right.
Joao: Mhm. Sleep tight, I'll see you tomorrow my love.
You: you too, bye joao.
You hung up and saw Diego peeking in through your door.
