[99] Joao's Return

You crept over to him quietly and laid down next to him. He felt the bed sink and turned around knowing it was you by the smell of your perfume. He smiled still being sleepy with his eyes closed.
Joao: hi
He pulled you closer to him, embracing you and placing his head on top of yours
You: hi
He opened his eyes and stretched his body
Joao: surpriseeeee
You laughed as he gave you a kiss and sat up
You: what are you doing here??
Joao: oh! Yeah I've missed you so much as well and can't stop thinking about you, thanks.
He said sarcastically and you pushed him lightly
You: I did miss you though!
Joao: did you?
You: yup
Joao: I don't think so
You furrowed your brows
You: why's that?
Joao: I mean you never texted or called nor answered me when I would try and contact you
You: yeah, sorry I just had my phone on do not disturb all the time. And well everytime I wanted to call you it was pretty late where you were and I didn't want to disturb you
Joao: a simple text would've been fine too
You shrugged
You: you're here now. That's all that matters.
He kissed your forehead before getting up
Joao: well I don't know about you but I'm starving
You: you haven't ate?
He shook his head
Joao: did you?
You: yep. But let's go get you something to eat
You led him towards the kitchen where everyone turned to face you guys
Dad: SORPRESA!!
You: so this is why you guys were being sketchy?
They all nodded and laughed. Everyone was in on Joao coming to surprise you, except for Diego. His reaction to seeing Joao next to you was priceless. The anger was getting to him.
You: bueno pues we're gonna go get something to eat, seeing you guys finished all the food
They laughed
Joao: and while we're at it we'll go get to know the area a bit better
Dad: that's fine.
He handed you guys the keys to the car he rented.
Dad: con cuidado. Joao, take care of her.
Joao: yes sir. I'll bring her back safe.
You both walked out hopping into the car and immediately turning on the heater. It was barely 5:00pm and it was already dark and cold outside due to the time change.
You: so what do you want to eat?
Joao: hmm don't know. Whatever is fine.
You searched up nearby places to get food
You: there's a canes 10 minutes away
Joao: perfect.
You gave him the directions as he drove there. You guys went through the drive thru and he ordered. Afterwards he parked and shared his meal with you, like always.
Joao: you sure you don't want any?
You: no I'm good
Joao: y/nnnnn. I know you want some.
You: I'm being for real. I'm fine, you eat.
Joao: I know you better than the palm of my hand and I can tell you want some
You: nope.
Joao: y/n. At least some fries. I can't finish this entire combo by myself.
You: fine.
You grabbed some fries as he chuckled
Joao: told ya.
You rolled your eyes at him as he handed you a chicken tender.

You guys went to a nearby target not too far from the canes and went shopping for basic essentials.
You: oh my god! Look at how cute!
You pointed to Halloween matching pj's and immediately looked for both of your sizes and tossed them into the cart as Joao laughed. Some fans recognized you guys and asked for pictures or autographs which you didn't mind. Expect for a group of girls who were a little too touchy with Joao.
Girl 1: Look that's Joao!!!
Girl 2: what? No way. He just posted yesterday and he was at Camp Nou.
Girl 3: oh that's definitely Joao! Let's go ask for a picture!!
Girl 2: what's he doing here?
They quickly approached him asking for a picture. They all arranged themselves after he agreed. One hugged him, the other wrapped her arm around his neck and the third one squeezed in between.
Girl 3: hey, can you take a picture of us?
You: um yeah yeah.
You gave them a confused look as you saw how they were posted up. Joao was very uncomfortable. As you lifted the phone to take the picture the 3rd girl posed kissing his cheek.
Joao: oh uh- no thanks.
You: what the fuck?
You turned the phone off handing it to them before even taking the picture
Girl 1: did you take the picture? We weren't ready.
Joao got out of their grip and pulled you by your waist.
Joao: guys this is actually my girlfriend and we don't appreciate you kissing me
Girl 3: it was just a kiss on the cheek
Joao: yeah but-
You: like he said. I don't appreciate this and definitely don't need people kissing my man and being all touchy like that with him
Girl 1: I thought you guys had broken up?
Joao: nope.
Girl 3: who even are you? I've never seen you anywhere.
Girl 2: THATS Y/N ARE YOU STUPID?
The girl shrugged
Girl 2: she's one of the best models there are
Joao: she's THE best
You: alright have a good night.
You pulled him by his arm as he pushed the cart leaving the 3 girls there. You were over them being all up in your business.
Joao: muito ciumento? (Jealous much?)
You scoffed and he laughed
You: don't even it's not funny at ALL. I hate girls like that.
Joao: I'm messing with you
He put his arm around you giving you a kiss

Stephanie and Diego were chilling in his room when suddenly her phone started ringing.
Stephanie: Diego. It's the clinic.
Diego stopped what he was doing and immediately gave her all his attention
Diego: answer
She did as he said and answered placing the call on speaker and responding to their questions. Diego felt sick to his stomach hoping that she wasn't really pregnant.
Receptionist: okay well we have the results back from your previous tests. Are you ready to hear them?
Stephanie: yes
Receptionist: you're pregnant ma'am, congratulations!! This is very exciting!
Stephanie: oh my god!! That's great news !!
Diego: what-
Diego's expression dropped blank
Receptionist: make sure you talk to your doctor so they can arrange monthly check ups and get everything set up.
Stephanie: I'll communicate myself with my doctor. Thank you.
Receptionist: anytime and congrats again.
She hung up.
Stephanie: WE'RE GONNA BE PARENTS
She hugged Diego immediately. He didn't know how to feel. Having a child wasn't in his plans at all. This is the reason him and you weren't gonna work out. How was he going to explain to you that all of a sudden he could have a kid with Stephanie but not with you?
Stephanie: you okay?
Diego nodded putting on a fake smile
Stephanie: well? How do you feel?
Diego: excited.
Diego was many things but definitely not the type to abandon his own child. Wether he liked it or not he was going to have to learn to form a family with Stephanie. Even if he wished you were the one he was forming it with.
Stephanie: we have to let the team know!! Come onnnn!!
She grabbed his arm leading him towards the living room where everyone was.

After a while you guys went back home and changed into the pj's taking pictures and posting them. You guys laid in your bed watching movies. It got a bit late and you ended up falling asleep on Joao. He played with your hair as he admired you sleeping.
Joao: god can you be any more perfect?
His thoughts were interrupted when your dad barged inside the room.
Dad: Mija, Joao vengan. Diego tiene algo que decirnos.
Joao signaled your dad that you were sleeping
Dad: ah! Sorry I didn't know.
You: it's fine pa
You said as you stretched
You: ahorita vamos
He nodded and left as you and Joao got up from the bed.

You all sat in the couch as Diego and Stephanie stood in front of you guys. You and Joao shared a confused expression as to why they would call you guys for a "meeting". You made eye contact with Diego and immediately noticed he wasn't okay, which started to worry you.
Stephanie: thank you guys for reuniting here for the news we are about to share. Any guesses?
Edson: apoco se nos casan???
Diego: no. Claro que no.
Stephanie: not YET, but after these exciting news we're about to share with you guys there are definitely wedding bells ringing
You guys all furrowed your brows
Dad: Stephanie estás embarazada?
She smiled cheekily to your dads question
Stephanie; you wanna tell them? Or should I?
Diego: I will
He cleared his throat as he played around with his chain before speaking
Diego: yes we're expecting a kid
You: WHAT??

Todays.Gossip Seems like soccer player Joao Felix and super model Y/n L/N are back together again!! The lovely couple was spotted in a Canes parking lot enjoying their food and sharing a few kisses here and there 😉
