The next day you woke up early and started packing. You weren't planning to stay for long so you packed a small backpack with a few outfits and essential needs. Everything was settled all you had to do was make up an excuse so no one would suspect you were gone and of course have Brianna back you up so she could be an alibi. You were about to call her when there was a knock on the door. To your surprise it was her and Kevin.
You: good it's you guys. Come I need to have a serious talk with the both of you.
They sat down on the couch as you explained everything to them.
Brianna: wouldn't it just be better to come clean to your dad and be honest?
You: no! You know how he would react!
Kevin: yeah I'm with y/n on this one. I got your back. You go and I'll tell your dad you went on a last minute brand trip
You: that's actually a great excuse!
Brianna: you're gonna have to be super careful that no paparazzi sees you in mx
You: not a problem. I'll wear a wig or something. Besides I don't think I'll be out a lot. I want to make sure Diego is okay.
Kevin: where could he possibly be?
You: I don't know but all I hope is that he is okay. I don't know what I would do if something were to happen to him
Suddenly there was another knock on the door

You looked through the peeping hole and saw your dad

Dad: I repeat myself once again. You act like a child meaning you want to get treated like one

You went into the room and grabbed the backpack
Dad: if you walk out that door I'm kicking Diego off the team

Dad: you heard me. I'm not playing games. Step one foot out that door and the team can kiss Diego goodbye.
You: you wouldn't dare too. He's one of your best players.
Dad: you said it. ONE of my best players. I can have him replaced in a snap of My fingers
At this point you knew you were fucked. You dropped the backpack and kicked your dad out of your apartment.
Dad: I'll have my security watch you. Don't even think about leaving

You kept trying to come up with a different plan to leave but they would all lead you to get caught. You let brianna and Kevin know. You also had to let Mary know so you called her and told her you weren't able to go which she totally understood. You told her to call you if there was any update

You had already fallen asleep when your phone started ringing with an incoming call. You saw that it was Mary and automatically answered.
You: hello?
Mary: y/n quédate tranquila ya regreso Diego
You sighed in relief
You: que alegría!! Como está el? Donde estaba?
Mary: el está bien. Se quedó en casa de Stephanie.

Hearing that sentence made your heart sink
