You moved aside for him to walk in. He handed you the flowers and you smiled.

He smiled at you and took a seat at the island table
You: can I get you anything?
Joao: I'm good as of right now

You placed the flowers on the table and looked for a vase to put them in but you couldn't find any

You: a vase for the flowers. But I don't think I have any
Joao: oh. It's cool, I can get you some new ones before you leave so that they're fresh

Joao took your hand in his

Diego: hand me your sun glasses to put on so I don't get recognized.
Kevin handed them to him and he hopped off the car and walked inside the bakery. He picked out a small round 8 inch cake with a red border and handed it to the lady behind the counter.
Lady: hello sir! How are you doing today?
Diego: hi, doing well thanks.
Lady: would you like anything written on the cake?
Diego: yes actually.
Lady: alrighty. What would you like written and in what color?
Diego: please write "forgive me, you're still my favorite sex buddy :)" in red
Her smiled faded at the words he had just said
Diego: is there a problem?
Lady: uh no no. I'll get that done for you.
She took the cake and walked to the back where she wrote on the cake and returned handing it to Diego.
Lady: here you go sir
Diego: thank you.
Diego walked away and paid. After he headed to the shop next door to pick up some flowers. He looked for your favorite type of flowers. Amaryllis. He found a nice fresh bouquet and took it with him.

Diego got back inside the car handing the things to Kevin.
Kevin: a cake?
He took a hold of it and read what it said before gasping
Kevin: no fucking way you're giving this to her
Diego: think she'll accept my apology
Kevin laughed
Kevin: dude she's gonna flip out. You're gonna get her even more mad.

Kevin: but she'll love the flowers so it's a 50/50 chance she'll forgive you. It's worth a shot.
Diego sighed in relief pulling out and driving towards your house

You went on a rant while he stayed quiet staring at you, admiring your features and the way your face lit up when you talked about something you were passionate about. You noticed he wasn't replying anymore so you stopped to catch him staring at you with a smile
You: what happened?
Joao: nothing, why?
You: you're completely staring at me
Joao: because you're just to beautiful to not stare at and admire
You smiled cheekily
Joao: can I ask you something?
You: yeah?
Joao: can I kiss you?
You nodded and your lips connected with his

Diego parked outside your house and both him and Kevin hopped off the car
Kevin: who's car is that?
Diego: I think it's hers
Kevin shrugged and they both walked towards the front door. Kevin was about to ring the doorbell but Diego stopped him.
Diego: just walk in. So we can surprise her.
Diego turned the door knob and swung the door open walking in. He stopped in his tracks seeing you and Joao making out.

Kevin turned to look a Diego who was squeezing the bouquet tightly. Diego ignored you guys making out and cleared his throat as he made his way to the fridge. You and Joao spotted them and automatically separated.
You: shit
You stood up and walked over to Kevin

Kevin: we just came to say goodbye.
You: goodbye?
Kevin: yeah, we're leaving later
You: oh right! Yes. I forgot. Come, sit

You pointed to the flowers and cake Diego had in his hand

He put the cake in the fridge and placed the flowers on the table spotting the flowers Joao had brought you

You: what? No. Stay for a bit.
Kevin: no we don't want to interrupt
Joao: oh, It's okay I can leave. You guys don't have to worry about me.
Diego: don't make yourself seem so important, you're not the one stopping us from staying. We just don't like the vibe going on.
Joao: is it that? Or is it the fact that you saw me kissing y/n? Just a little fyi me and her are a thing again.
Everyone went quiet and Diego turned to look at you
You: ummm you guys should stay for dinner

Kevin made his way towards you and gave you a big hug before him and diego started making their way towards the door

You walked along with them

You walked outside with them closing the door behind you
