You opened the door greeting the contractor

Contractor: well Mr Felix had said that the both of you were taking a trip to Spain together and were going to model the Portugal jerseys. We needed a woman to model. And since he was already modeling it all worked out in the end for both of you.
You: yeah, I remember him telling me if I wanted to model the jerseys.
Contractor: correct
You: okay so what you're saying is that me and Joao will be modeling the jerseys together?
Contractor: yes. But I heard that the 2 of you weren't exactly on good terms with each other. Sooo I'm not sure if you're willing to.
You: oh. No we're on good terms. We just didn't have contact with each other. You know I moved to France and well he went back to Portugal. But uh sure yeah I'm okay with it
Contractor: great. Well that's really all I had to confirm. I'll let Joao know and we'll be seeing the 2 of you tomorrow.
You: sure thing.
Contractor: um 1 more thing
You: yeah?
Contractor: you're leading the Victoria secret parade correct?
You: yes.
Contractor: do you have any projects after that one?
You: not that I know of
Contractor: okay, well we would like to offer you more projects. But this time for all sorts of women wear for different MX teams.

Contractor: and the great thing is that the projects would take place in Mexico. So you would be near your family.

Contractor: well that's it. I'll leave you to rest for tomorrow.
He got up walking towards the door. You opened it for him and said your goodbyes before closing the door and seeing Diego walk down the stairs.
Diego: so you're modeling with joao now?
You: you were eaves dropping?
Diego: no, your voice was echoing through the entire house. It was impossible to not hear you.

Diego rolled his eyes
Diego: why is he always connected to you someway? He's always present in your life.
You shrugged
You: I don't know. It's a coincidence.

Diego: It bothers me knowing he's going to be close to you.
