Meanwhile you drove to go see Joao for breakfast. Once you arrived you saw him sitting at a table. He waved at you and you walked towards him. He stood up from his chair and shook your hand.
Joao: hey!
You: hey.
You both sat down
Joao: how are you?
You: I'm good, and you?
Joao: I've been pretty stressed but other than that good
You: stressed over what? If you don't mind me asking.
Joao: well that's actually the reason why I asked to see you
You: ummm okay?
A waiter came over to ask for your order
You: I'll take the waffles with a banana smoothie please
Joao: just a glass of orange juice for me please
Waiter: got it. We'll bring your order out very soon.
He walked away and you turned back to Joao
You: continue with what you were saying
Joao: right. Umm so just bare with me on this okay?
You: okay?
Joao: okay so I've been doing my investigation on Cinthia.
You: okay
Joao: and well just the other day I accompanied her to a checkup she had.
You: mhm and?
Joao: when she was busy signing papers I spoke to her doctor and got some information. Apparently she's 12 weeks pregnant. I explained the situation to him and he said it's possible to get a DNA test done right now. So I told him to do it. He got the baby's DNA and my DNA and sent it to the lab.
You: you're going to know who the father is?
Joao: yes but no. I already know I'm NOT the father. I didn't knock her up because I never had sex with her.
You: sooo what was the point of the test?
Joao: to prove to you that it's not my kid. I never betrayed you.
You took a deep breath
You: Umm and Cinthia doesn't know about this?
Joao: no.
You: I don't know what to say
Joao: everything will go back to how it used to be. We'll be together.
He held your hand
Joao: that is. If you still feel the same.
You: about that, um-
Joao: I know. You don't have to explain
You: what?
Joao: that you and Diego have something going on. It hurts, but if you're truly happy and he treats you the way you deserve to be treated, then I wish you nothing but the best.
You: woah hold on. No no no. Me and diego have absolutely NOTHING going on.
Joao: it's fine I get it. I see the way you look at him y/n. You've never looked at me that way. And I'm happy you found someone.
You laughed
You: Joao no. Diego and me have nothing going on. You know I don't get along with him.
Joao: y/n. Come on. It's obvious you got something for him.
You: nope. Not at all.
The waiter arrived with the food.
Joao: well I'm not doing this so we can get back together. Im doing it so you can see that I never did anything behind your back.
You smiled
Joao: as soon as I get the results back I'll let you know
You nodded and you both started eating, enjoying your morning

Diego knocked on Kevin's door waiting for him to open it. He looked through the peek hole and let Diego in.
Kevin: hey!
Diego walked in.
Diego: is y/n here?
Kevin: uhhh no? Why?
Diego: that bitch!
He kicked one of Kevin's shoes that was scattered on the ground
Kevin: hey! Que traes? Quit kicking my shit around the room
Diego: I gotta go. Let me know if she shows up.
Kevin: what's going on?
Diego: don't worry about it.
He walked out closing the door.
Diego: so she DID go see Joao.
Just then he got a call from Stephanie.
Diego: great.
He answered
Stephanie: Diego!
She yelled at him
Diego: hey! What's wrong?
Stephanie: where are you?
Diego: uhhhh out?
Stephanie: no shit. Why did you leave me here?
Diego: you fell asleep, I didn't want to wake you up
She sighed on the other side of the phone
Stephanie: I'm still here, come pick me up NOW. We have things to talk about
Diego: can you stay for a bit? I have something to take care of
Stephanie: No. Come pick me up.
She hung up
Diego: fuck.
He got in his car driving towards the hospital.

You and Joao said your goodbyes and went your own ways. Meanwhile you texted Kevin letting him know you were free to go shopping. He texted you saying he was going to go pick you up soon. So you headed back home.

After a while Kevin came to pick you up.
Kevin; hey!
You: hey!
Kevin: cómo estás?
You: bien y tu?
Kevin: bien también.
You: that's good.
Kevin: so where should we go?
You: wherever
Kevin: do you have an idea of what color or style we should get?
You: no
You both laughed
Kevin: umm I prefer a red or like dark blue. I don't know about you
You: I like that!! Let's go with those options.
Kevin: alright.
He drove to nearby mall.
Kevin: oye can I ask you something?
You: yeah?
Kevin: Diego dormio la noche contigo?
You: uhhh what?
Kevin: yeah. Did you and Diego see eachother last night?
You: yeah but at the hospital. He didn't stay over though
Kevin: how did you know about his brother?
You: uhhh we bumped into eachother at a cafe and he was called about it right there so I heard
Kevin: mmmm
You: why?
Kevin: Diego stormed into my hotel room thinking you were there and then left when he saw you weren't
You: really?
You smirked
Kevin: yeah. It was super weird.
You: I don't know what got into him. Diego's weird overall
He laughed

Diego arrived at the hospital and was greeted by his family
Mary: hola mijo
She kissed his cheek
Mauro: como dormiste?
Diego: hola, bien y ustedes?
Mary: bien. Pero acá, alguien no porque la dejaste plantada.
Mauro: llevaste a y/n a su casa o se quedó a dormir contigo en el hotel?
Diego: a su casa obvio papá.
Mary: deberías invitarla a salir. O a la boda. Es muy buena muchacha. Y aparte queremos hablar más on ella.
Diego: ella va a ir a la boda
Mary: en serio?!
Diego: si, con Kevin
Mauro: ya vez, Kevin SI sabe lo que hace
Diego rolled his eyes and walked over to Stephanie
Diego: hey babe.
Stephanie: diego finally. Let's go somewhere private to talk
Diego: about?
Stephanie: last night
Diego: ummm okay? Whats the rush?
Both of them walked out into the hallway
Diego: what's up? Why are you so angry?
Stephanie: I'm going to ask you something and I need you to be honest
Diego: okay.
Stephanie: did you take y/n home yesterday?
Diego: yes
Stephanie: did you sleep with her?
Diego: no
Stephanie: then where did you sleep?
Diego: the hotel. Where else?
Stephanie: are you sure?
Diego: yes, why?
Stephanie: There's NO way you could've slept at the hotel because I had the keycard to our room the entire time.
