Diego: yeah, she was supposed to be your dog.
You: I'm so confused right now.
Diego: forget it. I'm gonna go take a shower.
You pulled him by his arm and brought him to face you.
You: first explain to me what you're talking about.
Diego got out of your grip.
Diego: remember the night we came back from the beach? And you started coming for my ass about so many different things?
You: the day we broke up?
Diego: yes, the day YOU broke up with me.
You rolled your eyes.
You: whatever yes I remember.
Diego: in the living room table there was a big box with a bow tie to which you paid absolutely no attention to. It was supposed to be a gift, but things went another way.
You: are you fucking with me?
Diego: no. I'm being so serious y/n.
You: why didn't you tell me?
Diego: it was a suprise dumbass.
You frowned.
You: ohh.
Diego: Mhm.
Diego carried Nilla and took her with him to his room leaving you downstairs. You walked up to your room as well waiting for memo to bring his kids. You took a shower as well and dressed into something comfortable since you weren't going out no more. You walked into chuckys room and asked him to help you move 3 extra beds for memos kids into the guest room. He helped and you did the beds and opened the curtains. You wanted to set up a room for memos kids so they could all fall asleep in 1 room and not bother any of the other rooms. Just as you were walking downstairs the front door opened and 3 kids ran inside the house with memo behind holding a suitcase.
Memo: hey y/n.
You: hey!
Memo: where can I set this down?
You: umm I set up a room for the kids. It's the first room on the right.
Memo: oh- I was thinking they would sleep in my room.
You: no, no. I fixed a room up for them.
Memo: oh- okay.
He walked upstairs setting it in the room, while the kids were sitting in the living room. You sat with them.
You: hi!
All 3: hi.
You: I'm y/n.
Lucciana: I'm Lucciana.
Guillermo: I'm Guillermo
You: and this little one?
You tickled her.
Karla: I'm Karla.
You: you are all so cuteeee!!
Then memo came downstairs.
Memo: once again thank you so much y/n.
You: it's no biggie for real.
Memo: bueno, behave kids. Y/n is going to tell me EVERYTHING.
They all hugged him goodbye and he left.
You: well? What should we do?
Lucciana: do you have any pets?
You: no. I don't. I actually don't live here in Mexico.
Guillermo: where do you live?
You: France. I'm a model-
Lucciana: A MODEL?
You: yeah.
Lucciana: I want to be a model when I grow up.
You laughed. Just then Diego's dog came running down the stairs.
Karla: PUPPY!
Lucciana: I thought you didn't have pets?
You: I don't. That's-
Diego: my dog.
Guillermo: TIO DIEGO!
He ran to Diego and swung his arms wide open.
Diego: GUILLE!
Lucciana: TIO!
She too ran to him. He carried both kids in his arms.
Diego: como están mis niños favoritos?
You couldn't help but smile looking at the 3 smiles plastered on their faces.
Diego: y tu Karlita? No me vas a decir hola?
He put them down and went over to carry her.
Karla: hola.
Diego: holaaaaa hermosa.
Guillermo: tio vamos a jugar!
Diego: a que?
Lucciana: siiii tio. Vamos a jugar fut.
Diego: Vamos pues. Vente Karlita.
She held onto your leg.
You: you don't wanna play?
Karla: can you play with us?
Guillermo: YES! We can make teams.
You: ummm
Lucciana: please?
Diego: no sabe como jugar.
You: si se Diego.
Diego: prove it.
You: let's go.
All of you guys walked outside and seperated into teams. Boys vs girls.
Guillermo: that's not fair tio. They have an extra player.
Diego: ay. No necesitamos otro jugador. Les vamos a ganar. Si?
You started off with the ball going to kick it in Diego's goal while the girls followed you.
Diego: Mira esto Guille.
He ran towards you and grabbed your waist turning you around and placing his foot behind yours to make you fall.
You: HEY!
Lucciana: THATS CHEATING.
Guillermo: NUH UH.
Diego took a shot towards your net but Lucciana stopped it.
You: WOOOOOO GO LUCI!
You guys continued playing for a while and for once you were actually getting along with Diego. The team peeked outside to let you guys know they were heading off. After you guys were done playing the kids went to go get something to drink while you and Diego picked up the yard.
You: how come you're not leaving with them?
Diego: didn't really feel like it.
You: how come?
Diego: I just didn't.
You shrugged.
Diego: you learned how to play huh.
You: what?
Diego: soccer. You learned how to play it.
You: oh yeah. I started hanging out with Chucky more often after we went our separate ways and he taught me a few things.
Diego: Mhm. Must be nice.
You: what must be nice?
Diego: to have a brother.
You: but- you have a brother Diego.
Diego: do I? Because it seems like I don't. And if I'm being honest, he's doesn't seem like it.
You: still having problems with him?
Diego: when have I not?
You: hey. Don't stress about it? You're putting in your part, and if he doesn't that's on him. What counts is that you're trying.
Without even realizing it you were holding Diego's hand.
Karla: tio es tu novia?
Diego looked at your interlocked hands.
Diego: NO.
You chuckled.
Lucciana: te gusta y/n tio?
Diego: no cómo crees.
Guille: solo son amigos. Verdad tío?
Diego looked at you and you shrugged.
Diego: Mhm. Solo amigos.
Lucciana gave you a smirking look and you shook your head no.
Guille: I'm hungry.
You: let's go inside and make something to eat, yeah?
All of them said yes.
You: alright let's go wash our hands.
The kids ran inside and you followed behind them before Diego grabbed your hand.
You: what?
Diego pointed to your neck and collarbone.
Diego: what's that?
You: what's what?
Diego: THAT.
You took out your phone and opened the camera. You gasped once you saw the hickeys Joao had left. They had become more visible.
You: umm
Diego: looks like you were having fun with Joao huh?
You: okay? What's the big deal? They're just hickeys.
He ignored you walking away to join the kids. You shook your head and followed them inside as well.
