You groaned watching them drive away. You turned around walking back inside the house and closing the door behind you
Joao: everything okay?
You: yeah everything's good
Joao: you sure? He seemed really upset
You: who?
Joao: both of them actually
You; they're just upset because they're leaving
Joao: hmmm maybe that's Kevin's case. But it's definitely not Diego's.
You shrugged
You: I don't know then
You walked over to the island table grabbing the flowers Diego got you and frowned
Joao: why did they get you flowers and a cake?
You: umm because they wanted to congratulate me on the shoot
Joao: ah got it
You: yeahhhh
It went quiet for a while as you fidgeted with your fingers
You: why did you tell them we were a thing again? We said this was gonna stay between us
Joao: sorry, it just sorta slipped out
You: please try and be discrete next time yeah?
Joao: I'm sorry, I will.
You: okay then
Joao: I just couldn't help rubbing it in Diego's face that we're back together
You: what the fuck why?
Joao; you know me and Diego don't exactly click
You: yeahhh I know. After the scene you guys caused at my house
Joao: it wasn't me who started it though. It was Diego who got all defensive over you.
You: he was just being considerate
Joao: didn't you hate him?
You: I did. Not anymore, he's not all that bad you know?
Joao: well I don't know if you noticed but he seems to have different intentions with you
You: intentions like?
Joao: further than friends you know? Shit like that
You: I don't think so
Joao: he does but at the end of the day it doesn't matter because you're with me now

Kevin: there's no way she actually got back with him
Diego: did you not see them eating each others faces off?
Kevin: yeah, but shit. I literally can't process what I just saw
Diego: see that's what I get for trying to be nice to her for once in my life
Kevin: just give her time and she'll explain everything to us
Diego: I won't wanna hear her lame excuses anymore. Out of everyone she went back to that mother fucker?

Kevin: seems like he's changed though
Diego: not even. He's still got shit to settle with me

He said sarcastically and rolled his eyes

Kevin: okay, now when Joao kissed her at his game were you jealous?
Diego: yeah
Kevin: and today when you found out she was with joao, I'm guessing you were jealous am I right?
Diego: yes, you are
Kevin: okay, why were you jealous?
Diego: because she's mine
Kevin: yours? In what way?
Diego: hicimos el amor y cuando haces eso pues la persona se entrega a ti y te pertenece. Es así de fácil me entiendes?
Kevin: Thats not entirely true
Diego: yes it is. When me and her are making love it's nostalgic. Something about the way she looks at me makes me feel special-
Kevin: how do you know she's not making Joao feel "special" too?
Diego: she's not
Kevin: y como sabes eso?
Diego: I just do. Okay? You won't get it and I'm not giving you anymore details about my sex life
Kevin rolled his eyes
Kevin: bueno the only thing I'll tell you is that if you actually feel something for her then don't let her go. Joao took her from you so easily.
Diego: I'm letting her go. She can do whatever the fuck she wants. I could care less. We're only fuck buddies, nothing else
Kevin: Damn
Diego: It's not that serious. I warned her about him already, so if she gets hurt that's gonna be her fault
Kevin: ay no

Joao: well I should be heading out, it's getting pretty late
You: I'll walk you out
You both stood up from the couch and you walked him out to the door
Joao: I'll see you tomorrow pretty lady
You smiled before he kissed your hand and hopped in his car waving. You waved back and once his car was out of sight you walked back inside. You couldn't get what Diego had said to you out of your mind. But he had to understand that you guys weren't anything so there shouldn't be a reason why he should be upset. You opened the fridge to grab a glass of juice when you saw the cake. You pulled it out and placed it on the counter reading what it said. Your hand flew over your mouth in shock. You couldn't help but laugh.
You: he's so stupid
You laughed taking a picture and sending it to Brianna. You put the cake back inside before walking back up to your room. You texted Diego saying you accepted his apology but he had left you on read.

Diego, Kevin and Stephanie flew back to MX and made it there safely

1 month later
You had been back in France for a little over 2 weeks and were preparing to leave to MX. Brianna was still with her mother who was sick so you were traveling all alone. You were planning to stay for quite a while in MX now that you had many new contracts taking place there. You packed and took an Uber to the airport where you boarded your flight and flew back to MX

Your father and the team were busy at a game so no one could pick you up. Once you landed you took an Uber to the stadium. You passed through all the protocols and walked down to the field. The game had just finished 2-1, Mexico taking the win. Once your dad spotted you he ran embracing you in a hug, followed by Chucky
Dad: mijaaaaaa!!
He swung you around
You: OH HI
Chucky: sis! What are you doing here? I thought we were meeting you back at the house.
You: I thought it would be better to take you guys by surprise
The whole team walked over to see what was going on. Once they saw you they greeted you embracing you in hugs.
Kevin: there she is, the famous y/n Lozano!
You: KEV!
You were quick to give him a hug. The team walked away leaving you alone with Kevin.
Kevin: como te fue en tu viaje?
You: good, it was very calm
You caught a glimpse of a figure behind kevin. You pushed him aside to get a better view. It was none other than Diego Lainez. You waved at him but he walked straight towards the lockers not even glancing back at you.
