Dad: yeah! Your tio said she might come

You faked a smile
Dad: bueno déjame ir con Chucky
You nodded before hitting the table with your hand
Kevin: what's wrong?
You: that bitch is coming over
Kevin: your cousin?

Kevin: what's so bad about her?
You: it's complicated but just know she's a fucking opp for real

The catering arrived a while ago and everyone had started eating. Everyone except Diego who was no where to be found. You walked back inside because the cake had arrived.
Delivery Man: where do you want the cake Ms. Lozano?
You: place it right outside in the backyard, follow me
They followed you and placed the cake next to the desserts.
You: thank you so much. I'll escort you out.
You walked them out and shut the gates. You walked back inside the house and heard giggles echoing. It was Karla.
You: Karla? What are you doing upstairs?
There was no answer so you walked upstairs. The giggles were coming from Diego's room. You knocked on his door before walking inside. Karla was getting tickled by Graciella as Diego laid in bed on his phone. You stood there speechless. Why was she in his room? What were they doing?
Karla: y/n!
Both Diego and Graciella looked up at you. Karla got out of her grip and ran to you.
Karla: look this is Graci, she's REALLY fun. You wanna play with us?
You shook your head
You: no mija, I have to help out at the party. But you go ahead and have fun okay?
Karla: I want you to play with us
You: I can't
Karla frowned and stretched her arms out for you to carry her. So you did.
Karla: quiero ir con mi papá
You: okay vamos
Graciella: bye Karlita
Karla waved bye before you slammed the door shut and walked down the stairs
Karla: estas bien?
You: si, por?
Karla: you look sad
She held your face with both her hands
You: I'm okay.
You walked outside taking her with memo before going with Kevin.
Kevin; what happened?
You: huh?
Kevin: you're mad
You: me? Mad? Pfffft.
Kevin: she's here isn't she
You: what do you think?
You rolled your eyes
Kevin: where is she?
You: in Diego's room
Kevin's eyes widened
Kevin: what is she doing up there?
You: she was playing with Karla. But if you mean right now, she's probably getting fucked by Diego
Kevin: and you're gonna allow that?
You: yes. The fuck you want me to do? Barge in his room and separate them?
Kevin: uh yes
You: no. We WERE fuck buddies. Not anymore. Soooo he's allowed to do whatever he wants.
Kevin sighed
Kevin: why do you hate her?
You: it's a long story

He crossed his arms

You really wanted to tell Kevin everything but you just couldn't tell him Diego was your ex. So you explained the entire story to him using a fake name to replace Diego.
Kevin: Damn, so you really took her man and then she took him back from you?
You: yeah. But I mean like come on, it was obvious they weren't gonna get together. He was only friends with her to get closer to me
Kevin: but still. Damn. Does your dad know?
You: no. And I would like for it to stay that way. Nobody knows except for you. It would cause family problems if I told everyone.
Kevin: yeah that's true. But if she took your man once don't let her do it again. Go get Diego!
You: Kevin. I have a man and it's NOT Diego.
Kevin: oh. Right. Joao.
You: exactly. So imma just let her have her fun with Diego. It's not like she's not gonna get played and used by him

The time had finally arrived. It was time to know the gender of the baby. You gathered everyone outside. Well, everyone except for Diego and Graciella.
Uncle: y/n
You: mande tio?
Uncle: where is graciella? She said she was going to find you but you're down here.
You shrugged
You: she is probably inside
Uncle: do you mind going to get her?
Dad: ah y también busca a Diego porfa mija
You faked a smile
You: claro que si
Kevin: I'll go with you
You both walked inside the house
You: I'll give you one guess on why they aren't outside
Kevin: they're fucking
You nodded before both of you walked upstairs. You guys stopped in front of Diego's room where you guys could hear the bed creaking and moans escaping from both of them. Kevin knocked loudly on his door. You guys heard whispers. Before the door swung open and you were both met with Diego. His hair was all messed up and he had lipstick smudges all over his face.
Diego: hey Kev! What's up?
Kevin: everyone is waiting for you outside
Diego: what for?
You: to reveal the gender
Diego's eyes widened seeing you next to Kevin meaning you had heard everything
Diego: I'll be down in a sec
You: and tell your bitch that they're looking for her too
You walked away and Diego scoffed pointing at you to Kevin
Kevin: you're unbelievable
Kevin too walked away

Minutes later Diego came outside looking more decent. He had cleaned up but you could see the hickeys on his neck starting to be more noticeable. And none the less Graciella too showed up. The jealousy was killing you. You wanted to do something about it but it was too risky to cause a scene.
You: okay everyone is here
You grabbed a big soccer ball filled with powder and placed it in the center of the yard. You showed Chucky and Melanie where to stand.
You: okay, so here's the deal. Chucky will kick the soccer ball into the net over there and the ball will explode releasing smoke in either pink or blue. Got it?
Everyone nodded and you stood in between the guests with your camera ready.
You: okay! On the count of 3 everybody.
Everyone took out their phones and started recording
You: 1...2....3!!
Chucky kicked the soccer ball into the net releasing blue powder.
Chucky: ES NIŃO!
Melanie ran to chucky embracing him in a hug. Everyone celebrated the wonderful news.

Later that night you had gone to your room to get the gift you had gotten for Chucky and Melanie. Once you were exiting out of your room you heard Diego.
Diego: chula, andale no seas así!
He was downstairs. For a second you thought he was talking to you until you got closer to the edge and saw he was talking to Graciella. Chula? That was YOUR nickname.
Graciella: I don't know
Diego placed his hands around her waist
Diego: come on. No one will notice we're gone
Graciella: fine. I'll get my keys.
She left going to get her keys. So many thoughts circled your mind.
Diego: why are you eavesdropping?
He looked up to see you peeking. You immediately backed away.
You: fuck
Diego walked up the stairs, to talk to you
Diego: what are you doing listening on MY conversation?
You: chula? Really?
Diego: what?
You: that's MY name.
Diego: WAS.
You scoffed
You: are you serious right now?
Diego: what?
You: graciella
Diego: what about her?
You: after everything we talked about. You go and hook up with her? I thought we had set boundaries with her.
Diego: y/n we're not together. It shouldn't matter anymore.
You: IT MATTERS TO ME.
Diego: huh?
You: you know how much damage she caused me. How much damage you 2 caused me.
Diego: you're overreacting
You: Mhm. That's what you always say. I can't believe you would actually do that after everything that has happened between us!
Diego: she's given me more attention in the past few hours than you have in the past 6 months. I kept trying and trying but clearly you dont see me in your future
You: what Is that supposed to mean?
Diego: it means that even after everything that's happened I still- why am I even arguing with you over some stupid shit?
You: because Diego you can't be doing this to me
Diego: doing what exactly? I'm a single man. I can do whatever the fuck I want. And you won't get in my way. You chose Joao over me.
You: what? We both agreed to only be friends with benefits not-
Diego: I know. But there was something there. Until you cut it off.
You: because I'm in a relationship now Diego. You have to understand that.
Diego: you don't see things the way I do
You: huh?
Then graciella walked up the stairs
Graciella: everything okay Diego?
Diego: yeah. You ready?
She nodded and Diego took a hold of her hand.
Graciella: hola prima!
She waved at you with the most fakest smile
Diego: let's go, the people here are disturbing
Graciella: agreed
They walked off and she turned back and smirked at you grabbing his face and kissing him in front of you.
