The room went silent.
Dad: Joao and y/n go to the room. I've gotta talk to Diego alone. Then I'll talk to you 2 separately.
You: but pa I've gotta be here in case this motherfucker lies on my name and-
Dad: to the room. NOW.
You rolled your eyes and stood up walking to the room with Joao behind you. You both walked into your room sitting in silence.
Joao: I need an explanation
You: so do I, where were you last night?
Joao: I asked first. So explain to me what this whole sex with Diego situation is about?
You stayed silent
Joao: I'm waiting y/n
You: I'm not answering until you tell me where you were
Joao: I WILL ONCE YOU EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE FUCK THAT BITCH WAS REFERRING TO
At this point he was practically yelling at you while his hands were rolled up into fists.
Joao: you were fucking him behind my back ain't that right?
You bit your lip avoiding eye contact with him
Joao: look at me
You didn't and stared at the ground

He walked up to you and grabbed your chin harshly making you look at him
You: yes
Joao let go of you shaking his head and placing his hands on his head
Joao: HOW AM I SO STUPID?? AGAIN, IVE GOTTEN CHEATED ON ONCE AGAIN
You: No no it's not like that! Listen to me this is all a misunderstanding
Joao: WHAT IS? YOU OPENING YOUR LEGS FOR HIM?
You: no!
Joao: THEN WHAT IS?
You: calm down please let's talk this out
Joao: CALM DOWN? YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN AFTER I FOUND OUT YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH THE GUY YOU TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY ABOUT?

You sat him down

Diego gulped and gave him a quick rundown of how everything had initially started between the two of you

Your dad stood up throwing the pillows that were on the couch across the entire room and grabbing Diego by the collar of his shirt
Dad: PERO COMO TE ATREVISTE?? CON SU PROPIA PRIMA? ERES UN IDIOTA!
He threw Diego back on the couch as he fixed his shirt.
Diego: ESCÚCHAME!
Dad: QUE ASCO ME DAN TU Y GRACIELLA.
Diego: ES QUE NO FUE MI CULPA. GRACIELLA LO PLANEO TODO. ELLA ODIA A Y/N.
Dad: what? Cómo está eso de que lo planeo todo?
Diego: before me and y/n got together, me and Graciella were best friends and I had no clue she felt something for me. So when Graciella introduced y/n to me I fell in love with her automatically. And she claims that y/n stole me from her so she planned to get revenge on her and when y/n left us alone for a split second at that party she took the chance to kiss me and made sure y/n saw. I WAS NEVER A PART OF THIS. Of course y/n never believed me and I was seen as the bad guy.
Dad: yeah clearly
Diego: and I tried to fix things with her but she wouldn't listen to me. And yeah after me and her broke up I had a little thing with Graciella BUT ONLY to get y/n jealous. Which in my 17 year old mind I thought would make her come back to me.
Dad: I don't care. What's done is done. Now tell me about how THIS whole thing started.
Diego: okay long story short things happened and we became friends with benefits
Your dads eyes bulged out in surprise
Dad: no. This can't be. MY y/n agreed to that?
Diego nodded
Diego: yeah! She did.
Dad: how long has this been going on for?
Diego: about like 5 months
Dad; 5!?!
Diego: yeah around there
Dad: and Joao had no clue about this?
Diego: nope. Y/n was thinking about telling him soon but we broke things off the day of our flight
Dad: oh god. This is too much. Pero me va a escuchar esa niña! Anything else I should know?
Diego: bueno pues look, I completely understand the situation I put y/n in and I know that I've been a dick and that you're not going to trust me or believe me but I'm willing to push myself up there to gain your trust.
Dad: a que te refieres?
Diego: estoy enamorado de y/n
Your dad laughed
Dad: this is a joke right?
Diego: no I'm being for real. I'm in love with your daughter. I don't think I'll ever stop loving her. She's incomparable to every other woman I've met and if she gives me the opportunity to make her happy I'll take it. Me and her have been through SOOO much together both good and bad which brings us even closer together. But if she decides to stay with Joao I'll accept it as long as she's happy. But I truly hope it's with me she wants to be.
Dad: there is absolutely NO way in hell I'm allowing you two to get together. Don't get your hopes up Diego. Because under no circumstances will that ever happen. She is with Joao and it will stay like that. Now I don't want you to go fuck things up for them. You're expecting a child and I'm hoping you get yourself together and drop this.
Diego didn't know what to say. He thought your dad would understand and be on his side.
Diego: but- don't you want y/n to be happy? Don't you wish the best for her?
Dad; oh but of course I do. I know that she's happy with Joao. And I definitely know you're not good for her.
Diego: I won't stop fighting for her Raul. I can't just drop this and let her go.
Dad: Diego you've got potential. Don't make me kick you off the team to keep you away from y/n. Because I will do it if it's necessary.
Diego: fuck you.
And with that Diego walked away going into his room.

You explained how everything had started to Joao in hopes he would understand.
Joao: that doesn't justify anything. You cheated. What have I done to you? What made me deserve this?
You: nothing. Absolutely nothing-
Joao: then why. Why would you do this? You couldn't have let me know beforehand?
You: I TRIED OKAY? BUT YOU NEVER ANSWERED.
Joao: yeah maybe because I was busy! But I always called you back and you know it. But YOU are the one who never answered. You didn't even bother to send a text.
You: you weren't around anymore Joao. Of course the loneliness got to me. I mean what did you expect?
Joao: for you to respect our boundaries
You: Joao please. Just understand me. You know that Diego was just a good fuck. He doesn't mean anything to me. Not anymore.
Joao: yeah but he's always going to be a part of you. Wether you like it or not he's gonna be around us all the time.
You: so what? Let him be. I want to be with you. I'm ready to commit to a relationship.
Joao: see now the problem is I'm not sure I want to commit to a relationship with you.
You: w-what?
Joao: yeah. I'm not sure you're worth it. You're not worth my time.
You: you don't mean that.
Joao: I need some time to think about this
You: joao please there's nothing to think about. It's either you do or don't.
Joao: I'll think about it
You: JOAO!
He got up walking towards the door but you stood in front of it
You: no me vas a dejar con la palabra en la boca.
Joao: move or I'll move you
You: what has gotten into you? The Joao I know would never lay a single finger on me without my consent.
Joao: watch me
He picked you up moving you away from the door frame and tossed you onto the bed before walking out of the room
You: JOAO!

Joao walked out of the room furiously when your dad stopped him.
Dad: ah ah. Joao a donde vas?
Joao: anywhere where y/n isn't.
Dad: look Joao I understand what you're going through. And I think what's needed right now is a talk. Come sit down.
He did as your dad said and sat down next to him.
Dad: let's talk things through. Open up to me. What's going though your mind?
Joao: everything. I don't know if it's worth my effort trying to fix things with y/n. I mean the reason I broke up with Magui was because she cheated on me and I thought things were going to be different with y/n. She seemed genuine. But I guess not.
Dad: Mhm
Joao: and to be honest I think she's better off with Diego.
Dad: no. Absolutely not. I'm in your favor. By any means in this world am I letting y/n get together with Diego.
Joao: it's not up to you sir. It's up to them. They're old enough to decide.
Dad: yes but I'm in capacity of kicking Diego off the team.
Joao: I just need time to think things through
Dad: look I understand if you want to call it quits with y/n but just think about the life you guys could form. Fix things maturely and listen to your heart. Do what you think is right.
Joao: I will. And I'm sorry if I decide to leave y/n. I appreciate everything you've done sir.
Your dad hugged Joao.
Dad: there will always be space for you in my family. Thank you for treating my daughter with absolute respect and keeping her safe. I'm going to have a word with her. And I hope to knock some sense into her.

You were crying as you buried your face into a pillow rethinking all your choices. The door swung open with your dad walking in. He sat next to you pulling you up to face him.
Dad: tenemos que hablar
You: I don't want to talk. Not right now.
Dad: I wasn't asking wether you wanted to or not. I said we're going to talk. Now.
