They looked at him confused
Mary: so what?
Diego shrugged
Diego: she doesn't understand me
Mauro: what do you mean?
Diego: she doesn't see that I'm not always going to be there with her. She has attachment issues or something.
Mauro: have you talked to her about this?
Diego: pffft no. Why would I?
Mary: mijo you've been on and off with MULTIPLE girls I think it's best if you just keep it on the low for a bit. None of them seem to understand you. And you don't understand them either.
Mauro: I agree with your mom. You've been going through several women Diego.

Mauro: it's time to settle down. You're getting older every year-
Diego: guys, I'm barely in my 20's
Mary: and? I want more grandchildren Diego
Diego rolled his eyes
Mauro: don't you want to have a family of your own? Like your brother does?
Diego thought about it for a bit. A family of his own. Little kids running around and stressing him out. Didn't sound like the perfect plan.

Diego: what the fuck. Anyways, I took her straight home and left with Kevin.
Mary: well I think there's still unfinished buisness between the 2 of you. Talk it out.

Diego: long story short me and y/n have set our differences aside and have forgiven eachother. We're on good terms now.
They looked at eachother in disbelief, then the doctor came out.
Doctor: relatives of Mauro Lainez?
They all stood up.
Mary: yes? I'm his mother. And this is his father
She pointed towards Mauro
Doctor: he seems to be doing well and has been transferred to a different room. Visiting hours are now available, if you'd wish to see him. Mauros wife went to go see him first

You guys proceeded to check out and left the store.
You: ohhh I just can't wait to see Stephanie's stupid face when she sees us tomorrow.

You: yeah well, recently Diego's had a thing for blondes with bitchy and clingy personalities

You: agreed.
You guys headed to chipotle for lunch.
Kevin: should we order take out or?
You: let's eat here.

You: yeah, this seems like a chill spot. I don't think we'll be interrupted by paparazzi or anything
You guys sat down to eat and enjoyed the time together. Suddenly you got a phone call from chucky. You picked up your phone reading the screen.
You: hm?

You: chucky?

You: he never calls. He only texts me.
Kevin: maybe something happened
You gasped
You: ay no, Ojala no
You picked up your phone immediately
You: hello?
Chucky: hey sis! Cómo estás?
You: hey! Muy bien y tu? Todo bien?
Chucky: ehh si por?
You: well you never call. What's up? Did something happen?

You took a deep breath
You: okay, wow. I thought you were about to tell me something had happened
Chucky: no no. But I am actually telling you some news, which I don't know how you're going to take.

Chucky: well you were supposed to know a while ago but there didn't end up being enough time to tell you
You: get to the point
Chucky: okay, just listen okay?
You: Mhm

You paused taking in the information
You: huh?
Chucky: I'm having a kid
You put the phone down looking at Kevin with your mouth wide open
Kevin: Que? Qué pasó?
He picked up the phone
Kevin: hello?
Chucky: kevin?
Kevin: Qué pasó? Why is y/n so suprised?

Kevin handed you the phone and you squealed

Kevin started choking on his burrito while you laughed

Chucky sighed in relief
Chucky: oh, good. I thought I was about to get scolded at.
You: what? Nooo. This is amazing news! Who's your girlfriend? What are the plans?
You gasped

The doctor said Mauro was doing good and he would be released in a couple of days. Stephanie was sitting in the waiting room all by herself. Distanced away from Diego.
Mary: Diego háblale. Mírala.
Diego glanced at Stephanie who was on her phone.
Mary: llévala al hotel a que duerma o a comer
Diego sighed and stood up walking towards Stephanie
Diego: let's go back to the hotel so you can get some rest and eat
Stephanie: it's cool. I ordered an Uber that should be here shortly. I don't want to bother you anymore.
Diego: seriously?
Stephanie: what?
Diego: you're gonna act like that?
Stephanie: I'm not acting any differently than you are with me.
Diego: don't start an argument here. Let me take you back to the hotel and we'll talk things out.
Stephanie: I'll go back to the hotel and YOU can go back to y/n's bed. How about that?
Diego: for gods sake.
Stephanie: my Ubers here
She got up walking out.
Diego: STEPHANIE!
Mauro: qué pasó? Porque se va?
Diego: olvídalo
He sat down going on his phone.
Mary: ay Diego.
She shook her head no. Diego scrolled through social media only to find pictures of you with fans and others of you and kevin. And not only that but pictures of you eating breakfast with Joao. Everybody was going crazy over you and joao possibly becoming a thing again.
Diego clenched his jaw and immediately sent you a text.

You had already hung up with chucky and had a date set. You were going to talk to your manager to book a flight back to MX.
Kevin: wow. Chuckys gonna be a dad. That's crazy.
You: I know. Like- my brother is gonna be a dad. And I'm gonna be an aunt. I can't believe it. I'm so happy for him.
Kevin: sooo when are you gonna start planning?
You: as soon as I get back home of course! I only got about a month to plan all of this.
Kevin: if you need help with anything let me know.
You laughed and picked up your phone as it vibrated.

Did you enjoy your little breakfast date with Felix?

You: the fuck?
Kevin: what?
You: wait. No no no.
You quickly went to your Instagram and checked your tags.
You: of course.
You showed Kevin all the pictures taken by paparazzi's of you and joao.
Kevin: Damn, they're definitely not going to let that go. Especially after all the shit you talked about him.
You: how did they even find us?
