Diego: yes. My brother was taking care of her but he left back to Spain earlier this morning so my dog is with me now. And I can't leave her alone.
You: sure I'll watch her.

You: no. Dogs are more difficult than kids.

Dad: Joao is also attending. Has he not told you?

You glared at him.
Dad: I suggest you call him and confirm. But hurry get dressed, we'll wait outside for you. So we can all go home together.
They all left closing the door behind them and Joao came out the closet.
Joao: I was just about to mention that to you.
You: are you actually going?
Joao: yeah. I'm leaving tonight.
You: why didn't you tell me!!
Joao: I was going to, but then we got carried away.

Joao: it's just 1 day. You'll be fine.

You said kinda mad that he hadn't told you. He kissed you goodbye to which you didn't do back. You were mad at the fact that he didn't even think about letting you know days before. You got dressed and agreed for Joao to leave your dressing room as soon as you stepped out to avoid your dad suspecting anything.

~outside~
They were all waiting for you. Memo and your dad were in 1 truck and Diego was in the truck you brought.
Dad: súbete con Diego.
You: what! No way dad.
Memo: pues que se traen ustedes?

Dad: then go with Diego.
You did as your dad said to avoid memo asking anymore questions. You went to the passenger side of the truck and tried opening it but Diego locked it on purpose. You saw him laughing through the window as he had you standing outside.
You: OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR DIEGO.
He did as you said and you hopped in avoiding eye contact.
Diego: is someone mad?

You guys followed after your dad. Diego's eyes were focused on the road while yours were on your phone.
Diego: where was joao? I thought he would be there for your photoshoot.
You: h-he was. But he had to leave early.
Diego: mhmm so all that noise coming from the closet wasn't him?

Diego: I'm not stupid y/n. I could see him through the vents on the closet doors.
You: wasn't him.

The whole ride was pretty quiet. No one talked. Until he placed his hand on your thigh and started moving it upwards. You looked at him as he was clearly unfazed humming to the song on the radio.

He immediately removed it from your thigh and didn't say anything else.

~back home~
You walked inside to be met with Diego's small Pomeranian. The small dog was running all over the place. You kneeled down to pet it.
You: awwwww. You're sooo cute.
You looked at her name tag. NILLA. It read.
You: nilla? Is that your name?
The dog turned its head sideways as it heard you say her name. Then Diego walked in and the dogs attention focused on him. She stood up on her hind legs scratching at Diego's pants. And running in circles around you.
Diego: hi nilla.
He said in a baby voice petting her. She ran to you wanting to get pet by you as well. You scratched behind her ears which seemed to be her favorite spot.
You: she's adorable.
Diego chuckled.
You: when did you get her?
Diego: 5 years ago.
You: you've had her for a pretty long time then huh?
Diego: yes, she was supposed to be yours but there was a change in plans.
You: what?
