You automatically went to the room seeing you had a just a little bit of time before Kevin swung by for you. You took your dress out of its travel bag and got dressed. You put on some gold heels and added jewelry to complete the look. You took some pictures for your Instagram and then got a message that Kevin was at the door. You grabbed your purse and walked out of the room to open the door for him. He walked in and admired your outfit.
Kevin: wow, wow wow!! Y/n you look- Im speechless.
He grabbed your hand giving you a spin
Kevin: Damn, forget the bride. Everybody's gonna be laying eyes on you.
You laughed and smoothed out Kevin's shirt.
You: you don't look bad either eh. Que guapo.
He smiled and then took your arm and led you towards the car. You got in and you guys drove towards the banquet.

Meanwhile Diego was at the hotel picking up Stephanie. Diego knocked on the door and Stephanie opened it.
Stephanie: uhh. You're not room service.
She tried closing the door on him but he put his hand in between and pushed it back open. He walked in seeing Stephanie in pj's.
Diego: WHY ARENT YOU DRESSED YET?
Stephanie: dressed for what exactly?
Diego: THE WEDDING
Stephanie: 1, stop yelling. 2, I'm not going to that stupid wedding
Diego: what do you mean you aren't going? Get dressed Stephanie. Stop fucking around
Stephanie: there's no reason for me to go. We're done remember?
Diego: no one knows that yet. So just for today pretend we're still together.
Stephanie: fuck no. You're doing this for yourself. Im not going.
Diego: I'm not going to ask again. Get dressed now.
Stephanie: no
Diego: I'm staying here until you get dressed.
Stephanie: looks like you're staying the night then. Because I'm not going.
Diego groaned
Diego: fuck you. This is exactly why we broke up
Stephanie: ah ah. No. We broke up because of your other bitch
Diego rolled his eyes
Diego: fine. You don't want to go? Don't then. But I don't wanna see you later at the party
Diego walked out getting in his car driving towards the banquet as well. He got there before you and Kevin because his hotel was closer.

After a while you and Kevin arrived and walked in. You guys walked towards the bride and groom and congratulated them. Then found a table near the front to get a clear view of everything. The banquet was already filled with several people. Many of them had their eyes glued on you, which made you feel a bit uncomfortable.
Kevin: told you. You have everyone's attention

Diego stared at you and Kevin whispering and laughing from afar clenching his jaw while he drank a Modelo at the bar.
Mauro: ya te vi diego
Diego focused his attention on his father
Diego: huh?
Mauro: estas celoso.
Diego: de que?
Mauro: no te hagas. Estás mirando a Kevin y a y/n. Porque no vas y te sientas con ellos?
Diego: pfft no.
Mauro: y Stephanie?
Diego shrugged
Diego: no se sentía bien.
Mauro shook his head patting Diego on the back as he made his way back with the others.

Many more guests arrived and sooner or later the entire banquet was filled. You and Kevin didn't leave your spots because you guys were so caught up in the conversation. Suddenly you guys were interrupted by someone tapping your shoulder. You turned around to be met with Mary.
Mary: te vez hermosa.
You: ah muchas gracias Mary.
You stood up giving her a hug
Mary: ven vamos a tomarnos unas fotos con la novia
You: I'll be right back
Kevin nodded
You: can you take care of my purse?
Kevin took it from your hands as you followed Mary. A photographer was hired and took pictures of you guys with the bride. Afterwards you walked back towards the table to see Diego seated next to Kevin laughing. Diego's eyes were super glued to your body. You took your seat next to Kevin grabbing your purse.
Kevin: are you hungry?
You nodded
Kevin: vamos por comida?
You: yeah, come on
Kevin: you coming Diego?
Diego: yes
All 3 of you stood up walking towards the kitchen area where the food was being served. You guys got your plates and walked back to the table to eat. Diego and Kevin were mostly doing the talking. Kevin included you in the conversation but you didn't talk to Diego.
Kevin: y a todo esto where is Stephanie?
Diego cleared his throat
Diego: she wasn't feeling well, so she's not coming
Kevin: oh. Guess that means me and y/n won best dressed
He turned to you giving you a fist bump
You: not the first time Diego's lost
You chuckled and Diego was about to say something before he got interrupted by a guy who pat him on the shoulder. Diego turned to look at him.
Emmanuel: diegito, how have you been?
Diego stood up to greet him before they both sat down. Emmanuel stretched his arm out to greet Kevin and then he grabbed your hand kissing it.
Emmanuel: and who's this gorgeous lady?
You: im y/n
Emmanuel: y/n lozano right?
You nodded
Emmanuel: wow. You're even more beautiful in person. Im shocked.
Kevin: and you are?
Emmanuel: im Emmanuel Lainez. Diego's cousin.
Kevin: ah.
You: I feel like I've heard your name somewhere. Do you play soccer too?
Emmanuel: yes. I do. It sorta runs in the family
You: clearly.
You guys all sat there talking and eating until everybody started getting up to dance. Kevin, Diego and Emmanuel were all thinking about inviting you to dance. But Emmanuel beat them to it. You were on your phone texting Brianna when you saw a hand extended in front of you. You looked up to see Emmanuel standing there.
Emmanuel: let's dance?
You smiled and put your phone back in your purse standing up and taking his hand. He led you towards the dance floor.
Kevin: te la gano wey
Diego had his jaw clenched observing you. Emmanuel placed a hand on your waist and held your hand with the other. You guys danced to the rhythm of the music without a care in the world. Emmanuel would occasionally get close to you and say things that would make you laugh.
Kevin: I wonder what he's telling her. Look at her laughing. Go separate them Diego.
Diego: It's pissing me off and he knows it. That's why he's doing it.
Kevin: what do you mean?
Diego: because she's my ex of course. He knows her worth and that she's not just any girl.
Kevin: what? Your ex?
The music stopped and you had to go to the bathroom. You excused yourself and made your way to the bathroom.
Diego: MIRA YA SE VA
Diego stood up fast and made his way towards the bathroom. Kevin looked at Diego with a confused expression on his face. Diego waited for you outside the bathrooms. Once you came out of the bathroom your waist was pulled back. You turned around to see Diego opening the door to the family restroom. He pushed you inside and locked the door.
You: what the fuck Diego!
Diego leaned back on the door with his arms crossed. He looked at you up and down smirking
Diego; que chulada
You rolled your eyes walking up to him and pushing him to get out the way, but he was too strong for you to move
Diego: ah ah ah. I see what you're doing.
You: huh?
Diego: no te hagas
You: what am I doing?
Diego: Emmanuel. Que te traes on el?
You: nothing.
Diego: mhmmmm
You: we've just been dancing
Diego: I see the way he's whispering to you and making you laugh. He's got other intentions with you, you know that right?
You: awwww estas celoso?
Diego: de emmanuel? Claro que no.
You: tiene celosssss.
You started taunting him and he gripped onto your waist. You wrapped your arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the lips.
You: pobrecito.
Diego: don't make me fuck you right here in the family restroom.
You chuckled
You: you wouldn't want your little girlfriend finding out about this encounter now would you now?
Diego shrugged
Diego: me vale si se entera o no. I broke up with her so it doesn't really matter anymore
You: what?
Diego: yeah, we broke up.
You: nuh uh. Really?
Diego: Mhmmm fuck that bitch
He started nibbling on your ear lobe
Diego: we can do whatever we'd like
You both looked at each other and smirked
